Wow, that's encouraging. One thing I don't know either is whether the faint line becomes a solid one with any predictable time course, or if it's just a teaser. I know that even faint lines pass but psychologically for me it would be nice to see a nice solid one. But it's a good sign that you're already seeing a faint line with a first morning's void.

Yeah, I wonder too if it's a teaser. However, test done a week ago I saw absolutely no line at all at the test (T) area. (Believe me, I looked real hard.) Maybe I'll do a dilution later this week to see what happens...just for the heck of it.

I'm sure I'd still be considered positive because the test (T) line is very faint.

I posted the above yesterday morning.

TODAY'S (6/20) UPDATE

5:30am - Took 4 asprins and drank 32oz Gatorade
7:30am- Peed 4 times-did home test - I have a negative line in test (T) area that can been seen from 3-4 feet away. Have more experimenting to do will update this post again in couple hours.

Currently adding:
7:30am-16oz water - took 1 more apsrin

Will drink:
8:30am-16 oz water - will take 1 more asprin

Will test again at 9:30am and see if line gets darker.

Thanks for the update.
One thing though.
High dose aspirin is fine on the day of the REAL test (for what it's worth), but while you're practicing dilution at home I would avoid the repetitive aspirin doses. You're 48 years old, and while you may still have the kidneys of a youthful stallion, be aware that high dose aspirin like this can cause a degree of kidney failure. Granted, unless you take high dose aspirin regularly, the damage will be reversible in a few days off aspirin, but just keep that in mind. Omitting aspiring from your practice runs will also let you see if you can dilute successfully in your own right, without the need for aspirin to blind the assay, (if aspirin even does anything on those home tests...that I do not know).

Jeez....thanks Nerph-I'm glad you're here. NO MORE ASPRIN! (I never take asprin as a rule.) I'll keep drinking fluids to wash it out of my system.

Just did home test and with dilution....I am NEGATIVE!

Not bad considering my smoking history and abstaining for only 11 days.

Control line not as dark as it was at 7:30am. Maybe diluted too much? Between 7:30 and 9:30 drank total 32oz. water. (In addition to the 32oz. Gatorade I drank between 5:30 and 7:30.)

Test line is solid but not as dark as the control line.

I will continue to abstain until I pass on my own using 1st pee of the day without dilution.

I'm pretty sure it does given my results on early a.m. test vs. test done this afternoon.

With asprin....test line was medium.

Without asprin....test line was light.

....This isn't really about dillution, but for those who sub, I think they should rethink those handwarmers. The last 3 times i tested they were all too hot, and the temp on the cup would not come back down after the pee was in the cup. And if i try to cool it down it gets too cool. So i put the sample between my legs, as close to the crotch as i could get it.( eew) for a few hours, then went back to test, it was a lovely 96-98 degrees. Just to think, I'm going to be on probation in a month, I'm not even going to be able to pull that off anymore. I may have to quit in a week or so. I really really really really don't want to. But who knows how the p.o. is going to be about the testing. But everytime i see her I want to know i can produce a clean sample. Maybe someone out there can help me. Subbing for a supervised test is possible, but its hard and scary. So until someone has a flawless plan for me, i think i might have to quit.
