With your smoking history it doesn't surprise me you are still testing hot. You still have some time left. Just don't screw it up by smoking between now and the test.

This is not what I would be worried about, if it is going straight to GC/MS. Read the enclosed link about "31 metabolites."

What I would be worried about is that in your profession you may be subject to the more stringent test of 20 ng/ml cutoff and 10 ng/ml confirmation. Bummer. So you have to pass immunoassay under 20 and GC/MS under 10. Most home tests are 50 ng/ml immunoassay tests. Some one a few months ago tried to find home testing kits that used 20 ng/ml and couldn't find any. So after your body is testing negative on a home test, I hope you have enough time for your body to complete at least one more half-life.

Don't let it bother you Doc...He gets like that sometimes and seems to be a little more than usuall lately. Keep home testing yourself and if you don't test clean by 2-4 days before your test, then dilute or sub. You could read the stickys on both just to be prepared just in case. A guy called DankityDank has all the links you need in his signature.

You must have skipped a few words or have trouble understanding. Here is the quote from the posted link.

Most, normal, most are the key words here. I didn't say all. There is a difference. If you couldn't understand those, I also said the more strigent test in my previous post to you in this thread. I never said you could pass a 10 ng/ml GC/MS looking for THC-COOH if you pass a 50 ng/ml immunoassay test. Do you see the difference? The information given is contingent on a test using 50 ng/ml cutoff on immunoassay and 15 ng/ml cutoff on GC/MS. Every one else that I have referrenced that post to has understood it well.

Don't get angry with me because you might fail your test. You probably wouldn't have know there is a more stringent test if I didn't respond to your post.

Thanks 1tokeovertheline for helping me keep my cool. I'll keep you guys informed of my progress. I know I posted on the results thread, but these are pre-results and thought readers would benefit.

FYI...after diluting yesterday with 16oz of water and testing negative for the first time (faint line), and then running 4.5 miles, I tested positive this morning with a regular pee. Still have 2+ weeks.

Again, I recommend medicaldisposables.us for cheap and accurate testing supplies. They've been great.

Your welcome. If the moderators see fit that you post be moved, I am sure they will take care of it. Don't worry about it. You aren't the first to do it. At least your post was related to a urine test.

I'm male, 5'10", 145 lbs, with med-fast metabolism (I can eat whatever and I never seem to gain weight). I been smoking since i was 19, and am now 27. I started at 1/8 a week, but been smokin 1/8 every 2-3 days for last few years, all of different chronic. In the last year, been smoking almost all kush.

I havent smoked for about 6 weeks now, and am still testing positive on home test kits. I have a pre-em test in about a week and half, but it might get moved back because they don't have an orientation scheduled on my start day.

I am seriously considering either diluting or subbing, using the methods i've been reading about on the forums. My concern is years ago, when i went to take another pre-em test, i was frisked to see if i was sneaking something in. Is this standard? Anyway, I'll let you guys know what i decide to do, and my results, here's the basic info tho.

I have the same body stats as you. I'm 2 weeks positive, but when I chugged a 16 oz water, I got the faint line. I would suggest you do a test run like this. 16 oz won't make you overly-dilute for the test.

Try it and see -- then let us know.
