marijuana use:
smoked a quarter of average stuff over the period of a month after not smoking for three years. Smoked pipe resin for three weekends thereafter.

Had to take EMIT test exactly 2 1/2 weeks after last toke.

preparation:

Creatine: starting one week prior to test, took creatine at recommended 'bodybuilder' dosage. Day before and day of test: took double dosage each day.

Water: drank water all day in preparation for 4pm test. Pee was clear until started experimenting with liquid B12 vitamin for color.

Food: Had huge meal night prior to test. Also had large lunch 4 hours before test

Powerade: 1 hour drive to test facility. Drank 64 onces of Powerade on the way. Finished last bottle about 30 minutes before test.

Aspirin: on day of test, took about 4 aspirin every 2 hours. Took 5 aspirin 1 hour prior to test.

Tums: Ate about 4 tums about every three hours day of test. Ate 5 or 6, 1 hour prior to test.

The test:

Was able to provide sample that looked a good yellow color; a bit neon but not too extraordinary.

*Strange Thing*: you'd think I'd have been pissing like a firehose after 64 onces of powerade in the car, and drinking all day. However, when I got down to actually do the deed not much came out. I was able to provide enough for a mid-stream pee, but the lack of volume has me concerned. I'm thinking that perhaps I overdid the Creatine. The label does say to drink lots of fluids to avoid dehydration when taking creatine, so maybe the powerade just soaked into my system instead of acting as a dilution agent.

What do you folks think? I definitely filled my body with excess chemicals to mask the other chemicals. I don't recommend everyone try this amount. I have an iron gut and a history of abusing myself in this way. After the third day of creatine, my muscles started feeling 'twitchy'. I'm on my second day of no creatine and I've felt pretty ragged out.

Anyway, would anyone experienced like to give their opinion on my prospects? I took the test on Wednesday at 4pm, that leaves all day Thursday for shipping the sample (they shipped it to a central lab) and Friday for conducting the test. At 11am on Friday I get a call from my would-be employer asking if I've taken the test yet. When I tell them I've taken it two days ago the lady then sounds "funny" on the phone and says she'll just look later.

I'm scared that I failed the EMIT and that now I'm going to have to have my sample tested by a GC/MS, thus the need to look back "later". But then, it may just be that the lab had not yet received the sample and posted the results on their website.

The maddening thing is that I can't ask if I passed. I hate this. I'm going to have to spend a week of pure hell next week while I jump every time the phone rings.

does anyone know anything about how labcorp handles the results. As in, do they call me, send me an email, or do i have to ask the ever popular question to my hopeful future boss, "so, did i pass my drug test?" If anyone knows a time duration or their procedures, please reply.

So, here's my story...
I took my pre employment piss test, physical and background check 4 weeks ago. Was told everything came back good. So I went in to the office yesterday, I've been working there for 2 weeks so far, and when I got back from lunch HR called me in to her office. She said that my results had just come back and they were "a little diluted". She asked me if I usually drank a lot of water & of course I agree. Well, I had to go then and there to the hospital 10 minutes away. Screwed, right?
I smoke every night. 5'5" 155 lbs. medium met.
My only saving grace is that I had about 5 big glasses of iced tea at lunch alomg with a sandwich, FF and some cheesecake.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm 33 yrs old, weigh about 185, I'm 5/9, believe I have a pretty good metabolism and the last time I smoked was last night. I already have the job, where I've been employed for the past 3years but was just offered a benefits package which of course requires a drug test. I smoke every single day that I can draw breath or at least that's what I used to do before I found out about their drug screening policy. Naturally they didn't give me the exact date but said it should happen within the next two weeks which really means one week to me. I'm usually a very nervous person and don't trust myself enough to be able to conseal a clean urine sample and/or a powered solution and successfully get it into whatever cup or tube they give me. I would rather do a full body detox but there are so many brands on the market and I have NO room for error. Are there any success stories out there that have used a 3 - 7 day detoxifier? What's the brand? Where can it be found? How long are you clean after you finish the treatment? etc. I really want and NEED to hear from you.

Ok some basic info I am 28, 230 lbs with average metabolism.I was a chronic smoker(1 or 2 times day. all day on the weekends) for about 4 years until last November then I went to once or less a week until Jan 05 when I went on a binge of 1 a day for 2 weeks, then had my last glorious toke on Jan 27/05, all in preperation b/c I knew I had to take a test sometime in april/may.
My employer gave me the option on setting up the test any time so I settled on April 26th. Unfortunely I found this site the day before my test so I could not follow all of S2's technique, I had no chance to add any creatine into my system, I also did not take any tums but I did take aspirin and diluted with gatorade (40 oz every hour for 3 hours) and 2 B complex vitamins the night before (which kept my urine yellow thw whole time). So at the lab after giving my sample to the nurse she checked with a Bayer Multistix 10 SG Reagent Urine Strip(which is for urine chemistry not for drugs). As I signed documents I looked at it and my pH was normal but my specific gravity was 1.00! My only saving grace is that the test is not that specific it can only read 1.00,1.005,1.010 and so on. So I could still be above 1.001 for being substituted or the 1.003 for being diluted but I have no idea what my creatine is. However the nurse sent it to lab anyway.
So has any one who has tried the dillution every got a chance to look and see what their specfic gravity was or if they every got any paper work from the lab with it on there?

6'2 260 33. i assume my metabolism is fairly slow as i have a sedentary job and generally sit around and blaze up. i smoke about an 1/8 of good weed every week or so.

just had a great job situation materialize where i will have to take a urine test. last smoke was last friday night -- test would be thurs at the earliest, more likely the following week. i bought some Vale triple strength formula and plan to drink lots of water and eat lots of red meat to build up creatine levels.

my question is: do i take the Vale drink the day of the test and then expect it to mask things for several hours -- or is it something i do as part of a detox process?

any info is mucho mucho appreciated. my 1st smokeup post-test will be in your honor...
