I've been clean for 37 days now and expect to take my test a week from today, meaning I will have not smoked for 44 days by that time. I've been eating healthier and running more over this time period and have dropped around 10 pounds. Before these 37 days I was a 1-2 times a week smoker, but had smoked about 5 times in the week directly before stopping. I have a medium metabolism.

I passed a home test this morning (first void) with a somewhat faint line. It was very noticeably there, but was also not nearly as dark as the control. Basically I'm wondering is beside from being lazy and pigging out for a day or two before, what else can I do the morning of in order to provide a little extra insurance? How much (and what) should I drink the morning of, and should I take aspirins or any other vitamins? I am NOT looking to dilute as I'm confident I can pass on my own, I'm just wondering if there are any other extra precautions that anybody can reccomend taking. Thanks.

Chugg enough water to make sure your urine is clear-er but still looks a bit yellow. About 16 oz did it for me. Don't do the vitamin/aspirin thing. That's really all you need.

this is what ive been telling people. everyone on here is going by the dilution method for everything no matter how long people have to clean out. almost all test kits have a faded line for thc detection, and go by what the DR said. you wont come up diluted, but you will be dilute. partially.

edit-what is your height and weight. youve given us a med metabolism

Whoops. 5'10", around 170. I definitely had intended on drinking something but I want to make sure there's no chance I come back diluted. 16 oz won't be too much? And how long before my test should I drink it?

You can drink 16 ounces and it won't be too much, just sip it over a couple of hours before your test. Don't chug 16 ounces 30 minutes prior, but if you drink it slowly over the hour or two before your test, your body has enough time to absorb what it needs and filter the excess without flooding your bladder.

I passed my test after 48 days clean doing nothing special. Granted I had passed 3 home tests using 1st voids, but I was still a bit worried. 5'8 , 155, high metabolism. If you're passing your home tests, you should be ok. I wish you luck.
