Looking for input on the home urine thc tests (50 cutoff). I bought a bunch of them from a medical supply site. I've been "cleaning out" for about 3 weeks and am always testing negative. However, my test line seems to fluctuate quite a bit between being pretty faint to being much closer to the control line. Who has experience with this? Does faint mean it's hovering around 50? If there's a line at all should I just stop worrying? (see my other post if you want more detail). Thanks guys!

the detection line for thc is more faint, you are most likely at 50 ng/ml or below.

A line is a line, if it can be seen in a photo or copied on a photocopier, it is a line. Faint lines do usually mean you are close but below 50 ng/ml. I can't take credit for this idea, I think it is Nerphroll's or Lew Scannon's, but they say if you have enough to spare, dip one in water so that you can tell what kind of line you get from a pure clean sample. If you are below 50 ng/ml but by just a little, you can expect some deviation in color because of you fluid intake and elimination. If you still have a few more, when you go to test I would always test the first void and that would help control some of the variables. You would be comparing tests from the same time of day but with one additional day free of drugs.
