how's it goin everyone? i had a pre-employment urine test yesterday along with a physical at the same time....i thought id share the experience. the thing i was most worried about was having to get checked for "male problems" so i couldn't tuck my little brother's urine down there and figured the armpit was the best place to keep it at temp (along with the backache patch i bought). i figured id have to wear a hospital gown for the physical cuz last time had one i did....so i figured my clothes was the best place to hide it. i duct taped the bottle underneath the left sleeve on the inside of my sweatshirt so i could hold my arm down and keep it warm, and it worked perfect. i had to take it off twice for blood pressure and vitals but i did it carefully and made sure no one saw...and put it back on as quick as i could to keep the temp up. so anyway they took me into the physical room and made me empty my pockets of course and luckily i still had my sweatshirt on...so i pissed in the toilet and lifted up my hoodie, unscrewed the bottle and dumped it in (of course, this was unsupervised). the temp read 100 and i blew on it a bit to get it down to 98...i handed it to the nurse and that was that. however, it was a split sample, a regular U/A and the drug screen. so the nurse left and i got up and dumped the remainder in the sink (each exam room had it's own single bathroom attached). the only thing that worries me was i got the sample prolly about 5 hours before...and kept it at 105 in what i dont think was a completely airtight container...i think it may have evaporated a bit and concentrated itself, when i dumped the rest in the sink it was really thick, and the regular U/A tests for specific gravity. does anyone think it could have evaporated enough to come up as a bad sample? but yeah, i think the inside of ur clothes is the way to go for anyone getting a physical (although the hospital gown could ruin it, since u wouldn't have ur clothes and sub. with u). i even think you could use a urinator or a whizzinator if one of the tests is a hernia as long as u pull down ur boxers and pants at the same time....but again the hospital gown would kill all chances. im waitin on my results still, hopefully the sample wuzn't too thick..... but i hope this helps someone.
