what can i do?
i've heard it all, from subbing to certo. i need a few opinions on the matter. i love ganja as much as the next man and would prefer to at least smoke on occassion while im in testing. ive been commited to outpatient for marijuana. its so lame, i feel as if its very unjust. but i have to do it. does anyone have any guidelines on this matter? i think i will be pissing 2-3 times a week in a cup and buying cleansers every time is not fathomable. my stonerhood is at stake here. someone please comfort me with some vital information

Just stay clean. If you are going to be tested 2 -3 times a week, there's no way you can successfully dilute. With that level of scrutiny it's doubtful that you'd be able to substitute.

This sounds worse than it really is. Smoking herb is a part of who I am and I smoked daily for years until recently. I took a rather safety sensitive position and can be pissed for wayyyyyy to many reasons. Unfortunately the grand smoke I planned on having after my pre-employment has been postponed to an unknown time . After closing on 9 weeks clean, I've gotten used to it and am only having trouble falling asleep (which has nothing to do with herb, but damn the smoke put me to bed like a baby).

Sometimes you just have to weigh your options and smoking may not be in them. I've got a nice cola waiting on me for when I can smoke and hopefully if you do quit, you can do the same.

If you can't stop for 16 weeks, then there might be some logic or reason as to why you are in an outpatient program. Why risk having to go more than 16 weeks or maybe going inpatient.

16 weeks aint nothing ... hang in there DONT smoke it aint worth it ...you WILL get busted..... and if you do prob jail right? or more time in drug treatment? just save your stash till your done it will go fast.....

i have basically come to this conclusion myself as well. i will be piss tested once every monday for 16-26 weeks. i believe that living clean for this duration is the only way to go. i'm glad that i have decided this and then come to read people are encouraging the same. it's a shame that cannabis is the only "illict drug" i touch or ever want to touch, and that i have to endure this programming. it shall be an endurance test for sure. i tour in bands so when we go out for 2 weeks, 3 weeks(the program says you cant lapse 30 days without coming in) i will simply have to use a cleanser because theres nothing better than smoking out on the road! other than that i am going to HAVE to stay clean for the pee tests and comply with the program.

Smoke on the road and risk getting fucked man. =\ Yeah its total bullshit, everyone knows that, but as someone said if you really can't stop for 16 weeks you might have a problem. What is more important to you, continued freedom of choice or getting high? Deal with the issue at hand and then you get to smoke again.

If you know you have to take a drug test at any point in the future quit smoking! Read the stickies and never start up again until you're completely in the clear, you never know if you might have to retest due to an error.
If in doubt, ask yourself this question: What's more important, getting out of the mess you're in or getting high?
