Hey guys,

Does anyone know which type of drug testing a federal agency like the USDOJ will use? I was accepted for an internship over the summer with them, and I just found out they will do a drug test. Will this most likely just be urine, or do I have to worry about hair testing and that type of stuff?

On a separate note, they will also perform an extensive security background check. I am 20 years old and have been charged with a few misdemeanors, none of which I have been convicted for. Once of the charges were possession of marijuana, though. The outcome was "nolle pros", which is apparently a better outcome than having a case be dismissed.

If I can be certain they will test for urine, I plan on purchasing one of those expensive drinks from GNC -- is that the best/surest way to go about (if you have the money for it)?

Sorry to be "debbie-downer" but i wouldn't be surprised if they do a hair test, seeing it is a branch of the government.

Your best bet would be to stop smoking NOW and continue to abstain. Also, they would probably do random testing as well.

Good luck man. I would never want to work for this corrupt government, though.
