I just landed a new job and testing is in 3 days. I smoked moderately for many years and stopped 2 weeks ago. I'm 5'2", 130 lbs and moderately active. I know you say to buy the test kits and check, but dont want to do until Sunday, giving myself a few extra days. The test is SAP 5-50 w/NIT. If I decide to use Ready Clean or Vale (against all advice here) would that show up in this particular test? Just thought I should try everything possible. If I dilute, I'm afraid for the re-test. I will do the water and aspirin thing but need a good opinion.

Home test and if need be do a mild dilution and then retest yourself. Or just sub it.

Thanks Hawg. I guess what I need to know is if I drink this will it show in this particular test? what does "w/NIT" mean? I cant sub it, unfortunately.

It means with nitrates. Using that stuff is like a crap shoot.

Meaning it may not show up or it may not work? Are nitrates in thes products? If my home test is negative, I should be ok, right? From all I've read here I am just concerned. But you guys are awesome and I appreciate your help. I will definitely let you know how it went in a few days.

It is for a validity check I think. I would save my money and go with the methods on this forum.
