Ok....need to vent and wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem....First off, I am 5foot 7inches, 125 pounds and was a chronic *daily* user of pot for years. Well, 30 days ago I quit. One would think I would test clean however with a home test I was still testing positive. So, I used the dilution technique. I drank Gatorade as recommended, 3 hours prior, starting with 16 ounces and then an addition 8 ounces every 15 minutes for the first hour. Then I drank gatorade, 4 ounces, everytime I relieved myself. I took 4 aspirin 4 hours prior, took a creatine supplement twice daily for the two days before my test. Well, just received a call that my urine came back diluted due to low specific gravity...ARGGGGGGGGG....I have read that taking rolaids helps with this....anyone else experience this and if so did rolaids due the trick for specific gravity? I do not have time to order from the suggested place to test for specific gravity as my test is tomorrow??? I was also thinking I shouldn't have to dilute so much considering I have been "smoke free" for so many days...any additional info, comments would be greatly appreciated.

This is exactly why I am NOT choosing to dilute for my upcoming test, it just doesn't seem 100% to me, and it doesn't seem to be an exact science, though I'm no expert. I'm sure others will be able to tell you what happened, but it seems subbing is the only 100% option.

Dude rolaids are not going to help.
Its because you were such an avid smoker that the levels of THC in your system were just way off the charts.
Right now your best option is to find someone with clean piss...
What does this test mean for you...
Whats going to happen if you fail...
If the risks are big...you NEED to sub.
Its the only way to do it in one day.

Yeah, no way for me to get a sub for tomorrow however....that is why I originally quit 30 days ago, so I didn't have to deal with the stress of doing anything...unfortunately quitting 30 days wasn't enough time and now dilution, at least regarding specific gravity is posing a problem but have no other options at this point.

Frustrating I have to deal with this crap in the first place, rest assured I will continue my active fight against the legislation on use of marijuana...

I think that by the time you get your next test or whatever you sohuld be fine.
The max time marijuana can stay in your system is forty days.
It jsut doesent have anywhere or anything to do after that.
So if you truly stopedd smoking you should be fine.
Do you have another test coming up???

Last time I smoked was March 31st, did a first morning pee test this past Saturday and came back positive so I figured I needed to dilute.

ok did you add the salt? do you take the tums? follow the 2nd dilution method.... or sub with someone clean pee
