I know I should be good based on this home test, but a few things might have affected me passing it. I'm going in for the real thing tomorrow (Wed) and took the home at 12:15 today. I woke up and took a piss at 5 in the morning, but otherwise it was my first piss. Also, yesterday, I drank a shit load of water.

my question...what do i do leading up to the test now? should i take confidence in this home test? keep drinking a lot of water, or just regular amounts because i don't want to have the sample rejected?
(btw. I smoked on 4/20 and 4/21, pretty solid stuff. i hadn't smoked more than once or twice in the 3 months before, but am an experienced smoker: 5'10 ~150, former athlete)

Sounds to me like you should be fine. The first pee in the morning with an instant that is negative is pretty good indicator, provided your test you are taking is not set at lower limits than the standard 50NG of metabolites which most home tests are set at. Do you know what kind of test you are taking? Unless it is govt. position, most places use more basic tests.

its an investment/insurance company, but they set me up with a place in philly while theyre based in tennessee. they have a philly office so maybe they know what this place is all about, but id assume it would be at worst a 50ng urine test. i took the first check marijuana from cvs as my home

you dont think the 7 bottles of water i had yesterday skewed this test? should i keep doing it?

No not at all.....at least from what I have read and researched. Water beyond a few hours before your test is pointless at doing anything other than leaving you feel a bit bloated: )
