Alright heres my story. I got a job offer a few weeks ago and they said upon accepting I had to go take a drug test within two days. I lasted smoked on 4/20. I've been smoking heavily every day for the past 6 years or so. So I put off accepting for a couple weeks and finally sent it in this past monday and scheduled my test for wednesday. The form stated it would be a 1793N SAP 9-50 GC/MS test.

Last week I bought a drug test from CVS and took it (after being clean for about 13 days) and failed. I started working out and drinking a healthy amount of water daily. Day of the test last wednesday I woke up, starting slamming water. about an hour later I took another at home test and passed (my pee was pretty water colored). 4 Hours prior to the test I took 3 aspirin and 2 tums. 1 hour prior I took 1 vitamin B complex pill which contained 10x the daily dosage, also took 2 aspirin and 2 tums. Half hour prior to the test I took 2 tums and 2 aspirin. From about two hours prior to the test up until the test I switched from water to gatorade.

I voided a few times before going and my pee looked like a normal yellow color (maybe more of a light yellow). I got to the place and took the test, this was after abstaining for 19 days total. My pee looked like a normal color and everything, so I went home confident I would pass and get the job.

Here's the bad part, after getting home I decided to smoke just one small bowl with my girlfriend...I took 3-4 hits total..pretty high quality herb(logic being it would be out of my system soon if they said I had to retake it, but I was sure I wouldn't have to).

The company I applied for called today and told me that I needed to go back and retake the test. I asked why, and they said it was confidential and they could not tell me, but she would send me a new form and I'd have to go back next week.

Please save the flames, I know I was an idiot for smoking yesterday after the test and I hate myself for doing it. Any advice would be appreciated, I can probably push off this next test to next thursday (which would be 8 days from my 4 hits I took yesterday).

By the way I have a moderately quick metabolism rate I'd say, leaning more toward average. 160 lbs and 6 ft tall.

Should I not dilute? Did the aspirin cause a false negative? Am I completely screwed or is there still hope? My current plan of action is buying another test from CVS and taking it tuesday or wednesday morning to see if i pass, and in the mean time excercising and drinking lots of fluids. Please help me!!! Like I said any advice would be greatly appreciated.

That is fucked up that they aren't telling you WHY you need to take the test again. It sounds like they fucked up and lost your test or something. I would raise hell if I were you...

Your best bet would be subbing at this point.

A bit worried about subbing since all my friends smoke and I had to empty out my pockets prior to entering the room to take the test.

You took a home test once, were you allergic to it? If not, take another one. See if you are clean or not.

I took two different home tests before this lab test, and like I said I plan on taking one again before test day. I guess my question is, if I am completely clean and take three hits, will it be out of my system within a week? What type of things can I do to get it out of my system faster besides exercising? Thanks.

Well I told them I was really busy next week and I already had to take time out of my day for the first test and they gave me an extension. So now it will be 2 or 3 weeks from my 4 hits. If I pass with the first piss of the day, should I not even bother diluting at all? Is there still a chance I would fail if I test negative on my first piss?
