Alright, I have a few questions. I have a job interview schedueled friday and by then I will have been clean for about a month (27days). Ive never had to take a piss test for a job until now. Could some of you who have taken pre employment tests fill me in on when they acually test you? I would assume it would be once they decided that they want to hire me (which usually isnt right at the interview)? Newho, should I go into the interview all diluted up, or will they call me back after they decide they want me? Im gonna buy one of those tests at walgreens/cvs a few days before and check myself. Are these things accurate? I read that you should use your morning piss for it, but I definately wont be doing that for the real thing...so why do that for my at-home one?

It is possible the would have a collector at the interview or send you out to give a sample the same day as the interview.

You should take the home test before you do anything. You may be clean already.

The first piss of the day is the dirtiest. If you can pass the home test with the first piss, you will pass the "real" test.

I have a subsitution question...I know the key is getting the temp to read correctly, right? Could I just piss in the cup, let the temp strip read the 98.6, pour it out, then put the sub in?

No, just as fast as the temp strip goes up, it also goes back down when exposed to cooler fluid. Plus, we actually do pick up the cup to pour into the vials. After doing this for ....ever... I have a really good "feel" for the correct temperature.

Don't get me wrong, I still look at the strip, but I can tell when a specimen is not up to temp.

I once had a donor argue that the temperature strip was defective because he "really did just pee in the cup". Ok, fine. I got another cup, poured the contents in the second cup and Lo and Behold.... still no temperature.

alright guys, took the home test first thing this morning and passed!! There was a nice THICK line after 2 seconds. Think im good to go? Im surprised since I went from daily use and only quit for 3 weeks.
