20 years old, male, 5'8, 165 pounds, exercise about 3-4 times a week, smoked 2-3 times a day for about 6 months (about a quarter a week), stopped for a week, smoked for another week, and by the time I have to take the urine test for a pre-employment screening, it'll be 26 days since I last smoked. I used the Strip NC Cleaner from GNC and have been drinking a lot of water and biking a lot lately. Took one of those home drug tests and it came up negative (although the line was faint). I plan on drinking water and taking aspirin the day of the test. What do you think my chances are of passing and does anyone have any tips (not going to risk subbing)?

If the home test gave you a negative with your first piss of the day you should be fine. If you didn't test with your first of the day, you should. That is the dirtiest.

Unfortunately, the real test is tomorrow, I already let the first one out today and if I take the home test tomorrow and it comes up positive I'm not sure what I'd do. Like you said, I'm hoping that since the home test came up negative I should be fine. For the real urine test I'm going to make sure I piss a few times before giving them a sample (test is at 11:15 AM, waking up around 7:30 - going to drink a good amount of water and take some aspirin). I think I should be ok, just like some more feedback on what people think my chances of passing are given my situation listed above

Do the same thing as you did prior to your home test. What ever you drank before then worked, it should work for the real test. Just don't drink any more quantity of fluid than is recommended in the dilution method. That way you won't get a diluted result.

So I took the test on thursday at LabCorp, and from what I've heard it takes 4-5 days for them to figure out the result (which would make tomorrow, Monday the fourth day). I've been freaking out about the result because I think I should be ok, but I've been reading so many different posts on this discussion board that I keep second guessing myself. The day of the test I woke up, voided, drank a bottle of water, voided, drank another bottle, took 4 aspirin, voided twice, drank a bottle of soda, took another aspirin, voided again, then went and took the test about 45 minutes after the last time. The color was light, but looked ok. Like I said earlier, I was 26 days clean after smoking pretty regularly for a few months, but had also stopped for a week before deciding I could smoke for one last week and then stop (could have been 33 days clean, but ended up with 26). Also had all the other factors listed previously. I've passed twice before at LabCorp for the same company, so this time I think i'll be ok, but since I can't know for sure I just have to wait. Anybody have any success stories with situations similar to mine to ease my mind a bit?

So it's been a week (seven real days, 5 business days) since I took my test. No call or anything so I think I'm in the clear. I'm starting the job next wednesday and figure that they would have contacted me already if anything came up. I'm going to remain abstaining from smoking for a few weeks, I guess until my first paycheck, because that seems to be the general consensus on this site. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that no news is good news, but I feel a whole lot more relaxed than I did a few days ago when I was waiting to know if anything would come up. Thanks to sec and 1toke for the help. I love this site.
