I took a test Monday afternoon. It's Wednesday afternoon today. Any chance my employer has seen the results yet? I'm pretty sure I passed, and I think with this employer, "no news is good news" - I doubt they'd ever call to tell me I passed.

How long does Quest usually take?

Quest takes as long as all the other major laboratories. about 24 - 48 hours for negative tests. It will take the employer as long as he wants to actually retrieve the results from the website though.

I would think they would automatically notify employers via fax or e-mail, at least of positive results.

Just wondering when I can rest easy. I'm pretty sure I passed, but would hate to have that lingering "I wonder if they just forgot to check on my results" feeling for the 3 weeks until I actually start the new job. Especially since I need to quit my current one.

I guess there's a lot of people on this in the same predicament.
