Hello everyone again ...

i posted last month about 3 days out ...i went to my test .. used the dilution method ... got the job!! woohoo... proceeded to afterwards.."celebrate".. for the next three weeks.. very moderately.. well late last week, i got the news from my employer that my sample came back diluted.. which i thought was odd... three weeks later .. and NOW its diluted?? hmm .. anyway ... today is Teusday the 22nd, I havent indulged since i found out, the night of the 17th.......

i took an @home test with no extra liquids.. nothing 2 days ago, and got no line at all ...

Two questions... is it true that Ibuprofen will screw up a test? I get occassional flare ups of Gout, and I take them in 800mg doses to knock it out ..along with Allopurinol ... In those three weeks i definately took ibuprofen ..

Second, If i decide not to sub, which is probably what ill do.. having gout creatine will only make that matter worse, so using rolaids,aspirin, vit B12,.. and H2O

work for me? yes i got B12, got to the store and couldnt remember what to get.. I plan on getting another @home test before i go do it, the only one i could find is a one time , and its $14,

it has to be done some time this week at my discretion ..which is good... maybe thursday ..which would be 7 days clean .. any advice .. other than subbing.. nervous to do that..

hmmm i dont know how much you smoked or your height/weight but i would strongly recommend (if you plan on the dilution method) taking creatine supplements like 3 or 4 days before the test, and a lot of them. Pick up a 10 dollar bottle of creatine capsules at Wal-Mart. Make sure you take your aspirin, B12, rolaids a couple hours before the test and up to the test. My recomendation is dont use water, use Gatorade. Thats IF your home test comes back positive. You should be alright with the ibuprofen, but i dont know much about that, just definetley dont be taking anymore until after the test.

more info .. i am 5'8", about 180.. but athletic build ..high metabolism.. smoked not very much ..less than an eighth in a week two weeks ago... 7 days clean now........ 8 tommorrow, test day....

should i just sub, or try diluting.... OR i have a container that comes with the @home test for 30ml... i know you need 60ml for the real deal, can i sub 30ml...then use 30ml of my own diluted on top of that?

just an idea... im thinking im probably clean, but tommorrow is payday.. taking the test while at work , so no cash to get another home test b4..maybe take rolaids, drink fluids,vit b

where exactly did you take your test? now you have me worried....I took my test over two weeks ago and have been clean since....for pre employment at quest.....and I was going to smoke this weekend.....but now your story has me scared to smoke this weekend.....hmmmm

Some employers take way too long to look for the results. The lab and MRO do their jobs on time. It is totally up to the employer to retrieve the results. If they don't do that in a timely manner, it is difficult for everyone.

well, like i said i have abstained since, and will so after tommorrow, at least until i get poitive..er negative results !!!! ill post back when i know more...

i have been reading some of the past posts regarding dilution, it seems i may have failed the specific gravity.. i was soooo fluid drunk ... felt awful ..

i will sub tommorrow,ill have 30ml of a friends P.. if i have to ill add some of my diluted to it... i know its not recommended, but if i have to have more, i have no choice ... as i stated ive been 8 days abstained now .. im still gonna buy a couple @ homes when i get out, and keep em on hand .. in case theres more randoms in the future.. after all, i gotta relax every now and then ..

ive been practicing the "crotch" method, just wish i had some tighter whities, lol .. two pair will do the trick.. i took the temp label off the at home container, and placed it on the vial.. seems to work pretty well .. so ill know the temp from 6am, when i get it,.. til 8am when i use it ..just hoping that if its lets say as low as 94, it will be ok,... i thought of maybe peeing right on the label to "heat it up".. as i did it once, its basically the same test .. just cant remember how large the sample was.. i thought 30ml ..

30mL is the minimum required for some employers. Most employers require 45mL, a few require 60mL. Never more than that.

If you can get more sub, If I were in your position, I would do it.

If you can't, then dilute yourself again and pee no more than 30mL into the clean sub you have.

When they sent your first specimen to the lab, did they send it in two vials or one. If only one, then 30 mL will be enough. If more than one, then you will need more sub.

You need to be fast about it though. 30mL will cool very quickly and if it is not up to temp when the collector looks at it, the specimen will be rejected and you will be required to pee again right away (probably observed).
