I guess this case isn't really typical, but I have an interview coming up for an internship, and I was told by a friend who referred me that they do a drug test. Now, because I didn't want to make it seem like I'm a stoner, I didn't ask him to elaborate.

I tried marijuana for the first time on April 14th. It was maybe 3 or 4 hits on what seemed to be kind of crappy stuff (or so my friend told me afterwards). I wasn't particularly impressed, but then again I don't think I had enough to really feel it.

Anyway, that was just to see what it was all about- I haven't used it since then.

I've heard the piss test should be clean after 30 days, but I'm not sure. I'm 5'9", 150 pounds with an average metabolism and I'm not particularly active.

Do you think the hair test would come back positive from such a small amount?

they do a hair test? thats pretty unusual. the standard is a piss test.. in which case you are more then safe.

im not sure how long your hair is dirty for actually.. im sure someone does. they sell shampoo that will supposedly get you clean if youre nervous but i cant say ive ever heard anyone i know using it.

but seriously.. its probably just a piss test. i wouldnt worry about it. tell your friend your situation (you only smoked once - not a big deal) and ask him if they hair or urine test you.

The hair test forum will give you much more info than this one. I would think that with a few hits, one time, it probably won't register but go see over there.

im in an internship right now and they did drug test me. but i can guarantee you 100% that your good as gold if you only used as much as you did, the whole 30 days thing is for habitual users, i gained a lot of knowledge from this site from smart people, and i hope you benefit from my new found knowledge, dont fret it
