I took a urine test yesterday. Haven't consumed for about 4 weeks. Maybe shy just a bit. Drank a ton of water. Took a test with Quest. Just curious on the turn around time. Would love to smoke again....LOL....can anyone help?
I think I will pass, drank a ton of water...which makes me think I should wait before I smoke again in case they make me do it all over again. The guy didn't ask me what meds I took or anything and I don't think he even tested the ph. What chance do I have in passing?
Grrrrr. I am soo nervous...My livelyhood depends on this job. Let me know your opninons.

How often did you smoke before you quit smoking? Because if your just an occasional smoker, your probably natrualy clean. If you are, I suggest buying a home test from your local drugstore and test your first piss of the day and if it comes up clean you wont have to do anything special in order to pass. Since you drank a bunch of water before the test, it's most likely going to come back diluted and your going to have to do a retake. If so, make sure you follow the dilution guide on this site ( click Dilution in my signature below ) if your not clean that is. Good luck.

I smoked daily for a few months. Use to smoke all day every day but quit for about 1.5 years.
How long will it take before I find out if I have to do it over again?

Drinking a ton of water is not the way to pass a UA. That will produce a "negative-dilute" result because your creatinine level and specific gravity levels will be out of the normal ranges. This can happen even if you didn't have enough THC metabolites in your system to fail the test. With that result, you will either be considered to have failed or be required to re-take the test.

If you go to the top of this forum's listing, you'll find a sticky thread that will lead you to threads about dilution and substitution techniques. Study and follow them and you'll have a good chance of passing.
