The THC is listed because that is flexible. some employers prefer to have the cutoff at 100ng/mL, while some prefer to have it lower at 20ng/mL. Most choose to leave it at the most common: 50ng/mL.

For other drugs, the cutoff is somewhere between the level that should be in your system if you were using for theraputic reasons and if you were using illegally. Since the illegal use of other drugs results in levels usually much higher than the theraputic use (i.e.: prescriptions, OTC meds, etc.), the levels are pretty much set and don't vary any to speak of. That is the reason a MRO calls. To determine if a level of drug that is over the normal cutoff level is due to a prescription or not. The MRO might call the prescribing physician to verify the actual prescribed dosage of a medication.

There is no accepted theraputic use for THC, so the level is flexible at whatever the employer wants it to be. Since it varies (more than anything else), they sometimes use the THC cutoff level in the test description.
