STOPED SMOKING for a few weeks. Ok I am a semi daily smoker lets say from the begining of the year. Stoped April 25. Drank lots of water and cran juice. Smoked 2 small bowls from my trusty protopipe on May 8. (didn't think i was getting the job). Just so happens they called the very next day and set up a pre employment urine test for May 30. Drank lots of more water for the next few weeks. Took a home test from Ride Aid and it said i was clean about the 18th of May. Took the test on the 30th and they said i passed today. I didn't really drink much water right before the test, just kept sneaking out of the office to fill up a cup of water at a fountain cause i couldn't pee.. Alot of stress now over. Time to light up..Thanks to this site very much.

Forgot to mention my stats...Male 34 5'10 225...No diet..live on fast food..twinkies and ho-ho's..i live alone..what can i say lol

That would clear your system in a few days without doing anything.

Big waste of effort. Even drinking a lot of water right before the test can produce a "negative-dilute" result, which can be either a fail or require a retest. Dilution techniques require more than just drinking a lot of water. You have to take things that will support your creatinine and specific gravity levels to avoid the "negative-dilute" thing.

The only thing you did that helped you pass the test was not smoking for several weeks leading up to it. Even most heavy daily smokers can be clean after four weeks of abstinence.
