I went for my test and am waiting on the results. I'm a little anxious, but having lived on these boards for the last week educating myself, I feel pretty comfortable that I'll be ok. I know in reading these posts, I was very nervous and worried, and reading about other's experiences was comforting. So to give back, here's mine.

I'm a heavy smoker (a bunch a day) and have been for many years. I'm a functioning pothead and happy as a clam about it. I'm starting a new job, so I have to test and the company sent me to Quest Diagnotics.

I used QUICK FIX 4.0 and subbed for my FIRST TIME! cherry popped I bought two bottles and a handful of tests. They were at my house within 18 hours of ordering. I started by testing my own urine just to see. I failed. I was stoned when I took it. LOL I'm stoned now, actually! :-)

I took the first bottle of QF and practiced the day before. I wore a pair of lycra running shorts under jeans. I did not microwave the bottle as directed. I crotched it and went about my business checking its temp occasionally. In about 50 minutes, I pulled it out and it was 94-degrees. I went to the bathroom, just as I would for the test, and pretended to take it. I closed the door, unzipped, put the sample cup in one hand with its temp strip facing my palm. I put pressure on the strip and held the cup tightly to transfer some body heat. I easily poured QF into the cup, recapped it and restowed it. I practiced doing this with one hand so I could keep a firm, warming grip on the sample cup. It's temp in the sample was 96-degrees. I gave the liquid a home test and I passed it beautifully. Clear of THC.

I felt better knowing I'd experienced the process through practice and that it tested negative. It looked like real urine with a slight greenish tint to it. It looked like real pee after a vitamin or something.

THE DAY OF THE TEST: Now that I knew crotching it for an hour would heat it properly, I decided to microwave the second bottle. It came out at about 98 degrees. I attached the warmer to it, wrapped it in a t-shirt and laid it down. It stayed there about 30 minutes as I showered and got ready for the test. I put on the same clothes.

I removed the warmer and crotched it. Temp wise, I was ready to go right then. I drove 30 minutes to a Quest lab. Before I pulled in the parking lot, I drove to another lot for one last temp check. It was 96 degrees.

At Quest, I was the only person there. There was one employee. He seemed nice and kind, asking me to sign in. We were the only two there in a small "strip-mall suite". I handed him my paperwork. He asked for an ID. He asked me to take a seat in the lobby. I intentionally sat on a chair that had been covered in hot sunlight through the window. My ass was instantly hot when I sat down.

He called me back, gave me a cup and pointed me to the bathroom. He said, "do not wash your hands and do not flush the toilet when you're done." He told me all I needed to void was enough to cover the temp strip. HE DID NOT PAT ME DOWN. HE DID NOT ASK FOR ME TO EMPTY MY POCKETS. I WENT IN WITH MY WALLET, KEYS AND ALL. I was not supervised. He sat at the desk about 20 feet away.

I completed the process I had perfected the day before. DO NOT USE THE SQUEEZE TOP. IT MAKES AN AWFUL NOISE AFTER YOU SQUEEZE IT AS IT FILLS BACK UP WITH AIR. The strip read 96 degrees when I walked out. I handed the bottle to the guy and he checked I was between 90 and 100 on the form. He asked I complete the lower part of the form. We chatted about what a nice day it was and I joyfully left wishing him well. My hand was shaking just a hair when I handed him the cup. For a moment, i was afraid he'd assume I'd done something fishy. But he didn't.

It was a piece of cake. I nailed a one-hitter the second I left the parking lot! :-)

Now I wait on the results. But because I lived on these boards and found tons of experiences of success that helped me pull it off this far, I feel fine about it all. I never found one single instance of failing with QF 4.0.

Sweet, good job man. I just ordered my sub kit. This my 4th day of not smoking and it sucks so i'm hoping mine will get here soon. I only got one so i'm looking for the best possible ways of going about this.

...but a contract arrived in the mail for me to sign. I'm taking that as a big old, "congrats cat, you passed!" QF4.0 saved my life! You could actually go to the test stoned! LOL I wasn't that ballsy. I atleast waited until I got back in the car.

way to go and good luck on your new job .hope you don get a radom test inthe future ,and have to carry quick fix with you all the time would suck. .

The general rule is wait till you get your first paycheck till you start blazin again.

Oh yea, and make sure you know the company's random test policy, if they indeed have one.

Oh yea, and if you have ANY test coming up, QUIT NOW! Is this worth jail or losing this $$$ ? NO! If you think so, you'll probably end up like this .

HELP! Going in a couple of days and I do not know for sure and I have a great job that is in jeopary! So, tell me if anyone knows....
1. Do they pat you down?
2. Do you have to leave your purse (even if it's small) with them? It's just your clothes and that is it? What is the best article of underwear is best to keep your baggie of clean pee in?
3. Most important: Do they always give you a private room to pee? Or do they watch you? Keep the door open?
What do you do if it's open? Any suggestions?
4. I do not know about the synthetics....I have a trusted source...What is the best way to sneak it in?
5. What is the temperature that is acceptable and will not raise any flags?
6. What would be a good way to do this when you take a 100% clean pee in?
7. Any other factors I should consider that would blow the test?

8. Are most Quests procedures the same? I think I'm going to Broadway and Alameda area?
9. What are some DO NOT dos with Quest Diagnostics?
My test is tomorrow....any ideas or comments would help me greatly.

1. No, they don't pat you down
2. Yes, I had to empty out all my pockets before I went in, so I'm pretty sure you will have to leave your purse with them.
3. It should be private, unless your taking a test for probation
4. For the test i wore 3 pairs of boxers, i put it in between my first and second layer.
5. 90 - 100 degrees
6. To keep the temperature? Use a hand warmer, or microwave it alittle and then keep it in your pants so i will stay warm.
7. Nope, temperature is the key to passing with synthetics
8. What I've read is that they are not all the same, but I think it is illegal for them to watch you without a probable cause.
9. There are not really any "DO NOT dos". All you have to do to pass is making sure your clean piss is 90 - 100 deg.
What i did when I took the test was microwaving my synthetic piss for 10-15 secs. then I put a strapped a warmer that came with it down with a rubber band and put it in my pants. Temp. was perfect after about 3 hours on waiting for the test (it was 96 deg.).... Hopes this helps. GOOD LUCK!!!
