Hey. I got a quick question for you guys...
So I just applied for a second job, and I really need the job because I have a second child on the way and I'm strapped for cash as it is...
I am nowhere near considered a pothead, I've only smoked maybe 4 or 5 times within the past month, one of those times being about 7-8 days ago. Anyway, so at my last interview I was told that the final step is the drug test, then I'm hired. So I'm pretty nervous I'm going to fail...
I'm hoping I'll pass because I'm practically chugging gallons of water, I bought a 48hr detox from GNC and I'm also running 4 miles a day. Not to mention that at my fulltime job, I spend the whole day outside in the head sweating and drinking water...Maybe my paranoia is a little uncalled for? I'm hoping. I

If anyone has experience on the issue or has had lab testing and passed, even though they have smoked within the past month, please let me know what else I can do to pass this test.

You should have spent the money that you used on the detox drink that wouldn't work anyway and bought a home test. I would guess that you would pass. I understand that you are strapped for cash but try to get a home test and test yourself with your first part of your first morning's urine to be sure.

i was thinking about getting a home test, but aren't they a lot less accurate than the lab tests?

Get a home test and test your first piss of the day. You may be clean and are doing all this shit for nothing.
Read the dilution sticky and the substitution sticky and decide which one you want to do if you fail your home test.
Chugging gallons of water won't help you pass a drug test. Exercise will but should be stopped 3-5 days before the test.
Again....test yourself.

why exactly is it bad to exercise a few days, or the day of your test? or does it just not help anything? for the past few weeks i've been running 2 miles every other day. i believe i did it the day after i last smoked, so i should have ran about 4 times since last smoke.

the 3 days before the test you want to stop working out because you want your body go to into fat storage mode and you want to eat fatty foods.. this is so any thc that is still in your fat cells wont get burnt off and into your system (pee)...... you wont burn off fat cell if your making new ones

Not necessarily. They are 99.9% accurate. The only way that I know of that you can fail a lab test is if the lab test has a lower cutoff than the home test and you happen to fall in between the two. Your paperwork that you have to take to the lab should tell you what type of test your taking. Sometimes it tells you your cutoff level as well. Check into that. If you don't have the paperwork yet be prepared and don't toke.

But what if your like and your metabolic rate is sky high. I cant eat a muscle relaxer and feel it in under 10 minutes which tells me my system pushes stuff through me at a high rate.
