I took a pre-employment test for a Fortune 500 company last Wednesday. I went to the store the day before to purchase a home test but they were all sold out (I live in a small town so I didn't have any other options and it was too late to get one via the internet). The test was an eScreen eCup.

Prior to 4/20 I was clean for 26 days (before that I was a heavy smoker, but usually stuck to schwag). On 4/20 I probably smoked about 3.5 grams of scwag. Following 4/20 I was clean for another 40 days prior to taking the test. I went in believing I could pass all natural. My first sample wasn't large enough, so I sat at the lab for about an hour drinking a lot of water to make myself have to urinate (I'd estimate that I probably consumed anywhere from 20 to 32 oz of water).

My Questions for You Are:

1. Does the fact that I smoked on 4/20 negate the 26 days I was clean prior to that (or does the fact that I was clean for 26 days mean that I had a better chance of testing negative in a quicker time span)?

2. How long would it take to hear positive results back from an eCup?

3. Do you think my odds look good for passing all natural?

You have a better chance of testing negative in a quicker time span

The E-reader photographs the results immediatly. If it is negative, they have results in 15 minutes. If it is positive, they would ship off the specimen and would have results by tomorrow at the latest.

Call the company and ask to confirm the start date, some silly question about benefits, etc... That should give you an indication if they have the results already or not.
