and still have not found a good option for my situation. I just passed my pre-employment test by substitution. I found this method to work perfectly. I took a spice bottle (seasoning salt) washed out good and took a
self adhesive neck warming pad they sell at walmart and wrapped it around the bottle. It worked perfectly. Now my question is I need something for random testing. I can't substitute cause my boss will probably just drive me to the testing place . They use the 5 panel instant test . I need something I can keep on me like in my wallet . Are there any options. Addictives seem to be my only hope but everyone advises against them. Maybe powdered urine that heats itself up.

That's my best advice. I am under random tests also. I quit smoking. I found that it just wasn't worth the stress to me and my wife. I had smoked for over 20 years. It's hard to beat a random cause you never know when their coming.Best of luck .

but why even respond if your gonna say that. The only reason to post the question I did is because I don't want to quit. I want to know what my best options are. I know none of them are fool proof. I am mainly thinking that powdered urine would work but I don't know how to warm it up on the fly. I thought there was some synthetic urine that can heat itself up.

Some people crotch Quickfix every day.

Other than that, if you want your job, you'll have to quit. I did not want to either, I was a 30 year chronic, but it's not that hard after the first week or so.

You just have to evaluate your priorities in life.

I know there is no 100 % method but i'm not quiting. SO please people don't respond by saying quit smoking. I would not be on this site if I wanted to quit smoking. In addition to a thank you button there needs to be a douche bag button. I care more about my freedom then a damn job but I did want to know if there was anything i could do. The test they use just has the 5 panels . I don't think they test for ph . I'm not sure if they will ride with me to the testing center. So i'm thinking i'll keep powdered urine in my car. In case they do ride with me then I'll use the 50-50 bleach and vinegar in a visine bottle i read earlier. I was just wondering if anybody had any better ideas.

ps does anybody know if quick fix can be stored in my car or does it have to be frozen or kept cool

If they are random testing you, they will be testing PH and specific gravity.

If you get caught adulterating your sample they will fire you for sure.

If you get caught with a hot UA, they may give you the opportunity to do an outpatient rehab program and retest you at a later date. Or they may just fire you, it depends on the company.

You can keep Quickfix in your car. You will be fine in the summer, but you will have a tougher time getting it up to temp in the winter. You might be able to stop at a convenience store on the way and use their microwave.

I don't know what industry you are in, but if smoking is that important to you(and it was to me for many years), you might look into self employment for the long term.

Thank You thats a MUCH better response. So the premixed quick fix can sit in your car and it will be fine AWESOME how long do u think it will be good for. I live in a small town and I have been tested at this place many times (always passed by sub) they always use the 5 panel instant test then they just toss the sample back in the toilet after it comes back clean . Does anybody have a certain premixed solution they swear by. Is there one that comes in a plastic pouch that is easier to carry in your pocket

You asked and for randoms that is your best bet. Notice that Ducklebill has 2 "thank you's" so far, for his response.
If you care more about your freedom than the job, why are you posting? Tell them to get fucked and find a job that don't drug test, unless it makes you feel "free" to crotch a bottle of Quick Fix everyday. It's not very polite to insinuate that another member is a douche bag for giving you the best advice you can get. If you don't want opinions you would be better off not posting on a public forum.

It was stupid advice. Thats like telling someone that the best way not to get car accident is to not to drive . It may be true but it is still a smart ass thing to say. Jerry g's second response was the "polite" way to respond.

Like I said. Ducklebill has 2 thank you's so far and JerryG was one of them. I disagree about it being a smart ass thing to say. It was the smart thing to say. Whatever.......we will see if Ducklebill gets anymore thank you's for his reply then we will see if maybe you are the only one that thought it was a smart ass reply. As you can see, I also thought is was a smart reply.
