I have been reading the posts/threads on testing/subbing. I have been a chronic smoker daily for 30+ years (5'1", 130 lbs, moderate excersize/metabolism).

Our company is being acquired by a large corporate and we found out last week they will perform drug testing on all employees of our company. Not sure when the sale will close or when the drug testing will occur. I have been clean since I heard the news (10 days).

While reading all the threads here, seems like subbing is the safest thing, particularly in my circumstances.

We have over 100 employees at our company and I'm afraid it may not practical for them to rely on all of us to go to clinic/lab for testing but might perform the testing on site at work, but have seen no posts where on-site testing is performed.

What do you think are the chances? Obviously, going to a clinic with some notice makes it much easier to sub than if you come to work and find out that testing is occuring starting at 9am that morning with no warning.

I just sent you a PM since you had posted this originally in the feedback forum. I have had an experience of them coming to the jobsite to test us without any warning or anything. Oops failed. Just in case anyone else wanted to know. That's a very short version of the story.

I agree with you. Another thing is that if a large company bought them out it could be a hair test and not a urine test.
