There is no such thing as "cleansing" your body.

All you are doing is adding fluid to your pee. Because your urine contains a certain quantity of THC metabolites, and they measure THC metabolites as nanograms per milliliter of urine, by adding urine, you are reducing the ratio of THC per milliliter of urine. This could result in a measurement of THC below the cutoff level of the test.

You aren't actually cleaning anything out (unless you eat too much creatine suppliment )

Look at it this way:

Apples = THC Metabolites
Water = Urine

You have 6 apples in a tank containing one gallon of water. If someone was to dip into the tank, chances are they will detect an apple in the water.

If you added 30 gallons of water to the tank and someone dipped into the tank, chances are they would not detect an apple because there was too much water.

Now, for your test, substitute water in the example above, for gatorade or some other brand of sports drink. This gives your urine some substance and helps to reduce the possibility of the laboratory determining your urine is actually water.
