i have random UA's on my probation and i was wondering if i took creatine everyday and used the dilution process the day of my test would it work? would taking the creatine everyday have any odd effects on me?

Long term use of creatine is associated in some people with renal failure. Plus, with "random" testing there's very little chance you'd be able to properly dilute anyway due to the short notice.

well i would be able to dilute because the dilution process only takes 4 hours.... and i have from 8-5 to take my test the day my color is called

and i am only on probation for up to a year so it wouldnt be very long term especially if i pass them

Dude, I didn't realize this was probation. I overlooked that earlier. In that case, check out the thread above. Instead of trying to skirt danger for a year, perhaps try the more boring yet safer alternative.

Are you observed? I understand that some probation tests are not observed. If not then just keep some quick fix available at all times. If you are observed I would recommend that you just quit for now. As you basically said a year isn't that long anyway.

Dilution techniques require at least 48 hours of abstinence in order to work. With random testing, there's no way you'd have 48 hours notice and even 48 hours might not be enough.

This seems to be the dogma...but is this proven true or largely anecdotal?

Who knows? I've seen posts from people who claim to have smoked right up until the test, gulped down some magic elixir, and passed. I've also seen posts from people who claim that Jesus talks to them...

In this situation, I think the wise thing to do is err on the side of caution. If you think you can get clean faster than 48 hours, you should buy some home tests and verify it before it comes around and bites you on the ass.

well idk, i dont usually drink much water so when i do i have to pee a lot and its very clear almost right away so idk, im kind of observed through a cracked open door to the bathroom with a mirror on the otherside, ive only taken one so far so im not really sure if that is the cituation all of the time a wiznator or somethin like it might be possible, i would rather dilute and creatine though.... any creative ideas on how to dilute the day of? and what is an approx amount of creatine i should take?
