Hey guys and gals out there,

I took my test this past monday. It was done at a local hospital and eventually tested by Medtox out of MN. I was wondering how long the results usually take, and if anybody has had experience with this before.

Any info you guys have about how long it takes to get your results would be greatly appreciated. Im fairly confident that I passed, however I cant ask my boss about it, for obivous reasons. Im just wondering how long til I know Im in the clear (knock on wood.)

You have passed or you would have heard by now. They only notify u when u failed and in my experience usually no longer than 3 days. good luck

If this person took his test on Monday, the lab would not have received the specimen until Tuesday. the lab might have processed the specimen through the confirmation GC/MS by Friday, but if the MRO didn't have time to get to it on Friday, then maybe Monday.

At any rate, if you haven't heard from A MRO within 3-6 days (depending on whether the weekend and/or a holiday is messing with the days), you probably won't.

Exactly how much experience do you have talking to MRO's?

I was in charge of collection and sending out specimens for my company and with sending out the stuff (overnighted) I usually was faxed results in 2-3 days tops

i guess some companies could take longer and the weekend thing does apply

but as i said before you will not be notified of passing no news is good news
