I'm 45, 6ft, 210lbs and and prolly a slow metabolism but typically drink lots of water. I received an offer from a company totally unexpected and learned they do drug testing- urine testing to the best of my knowledge. I smoked a few times in Febuary and not again until about 10 days ago, when I took about 4 hits off a one hitter, 2 on friday and 2 hits on saturday ( I'm a wuss ) anyway, by the time I take the urine test it will about 11/12 days after my last hit. Do I need to be concerned.? I panicked, ran to a head shop and picked up some Stat pretox pills that I later learned do nothing ?

I have heard the metabolites stay in your fat and can be detected long after but no one seems to know for sure. Will I pass or fail ? TIA for the help.

If the pills aren't opened, see if you can return them and get a home drug test. Use your first void in the morning to get a worst case scenario. You're probably clear of the smoking in February (greater than 90 days) & the two times recently may be cleared out in a few more days too (if not already) so home test to see. Read the dilution sticky at the top of the urine testing forum in case you need it.

Home test, read....those are the best things to do at this point other than obviously not smoking.

Thanks, I took a self test about 4 days (after last smoke ) late afternoon when i had to go really bad, it came back negative. But like people say, self test NEEDS to be taken first think in the AM ? If i passed on a home test at 5pm after drinking lots of water then i pray i can pass on day 12 no problem. I am not sure which test lab the client uses in MN.

I myself was in a Rehab outpatient and every week I would get drug tested id smoke like 2-3 days out of the week after the day i attended...i never took detox im athletic and stuff but at the time i didnt do much just school and stuff. I only weigh like 150 and all but either way I mean i just didnt believe i would fail i drank a good amount of water and just pissed it out and had courage in myself that i would pass and i really didnt care all the other people were drug addicts and im just in there for pot...im like...wtf am i doing here ya kno? but anyways you dont sound to overwieght by ur height and all and if u stay in physical shape...and if u took 2 hits...man...dont worry id smoke like 5 bowls in 2 days and i was still fine...maybe i just fooled my body though...who knows...i believe u should be fine though...goodluck with that interview/drug test.

Wow, you never tripped a test ? that's amazing. Anyway, crossing fingers and taking my test this afternoon.

nope never, but the thing is i was never paranoid about it, just showed up did what i had to...went home lit a bowl...took a few hits relaxed played some games with a friend on xbox live. or went out and smoked a few bowls with a buddy. i remember drinkin a good amount of water before every test though. i would drink about 5 bottles that day...i detoxed once but that was for a job, and that was some natural shit it cost 7 dollars. its called sonne's fomula #7 natural detoxification. i gave it to a bunch of friends who needed it to. and they also passed. doesnt taste to great. but it works

Well, I took my test yesterday ( day 11 ) , run by Labcorp. Glad it's over, the stress was unnerving ! I drank plenty of water to where i had to pee about 30-40 minutes and took two multi vitamins one in the am and one in the afternoon, about 5 creatine capsules spread thru out the day and 4 aspirin a few hours before the test plus some Sobe vitamin water also a few hours before followed by water, the urine came out Neon yellow and clear so it's over now, I just hope the test doesn't come back showing diluted. To be on the safe side, I took a 40.00 test from walgreens that tests for all street drugs about 1.5 hours before the labcorp test and i came up clean for thc, crossing fingers. will i show diluted ? what happens if i do ? will I need to retest ? Labcorp took my one sample and put it in two seperate vials each with it's own label ? Why do they do that ? is one a backup in case i test positive/false positive on the first sample ?

Will you get a retest if dilute, it is up to the employer.

You had a split sample. They will test the A sample and if you fail immunoassay and GC/MS on it, you have the opportunity to pay for a retest on the B sample, which is easier said then done because Labcorp is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery hiden inside an enigma when you have questions.
