I am using quick fix for my first time and I have to take a test in a few days.. after heating the stuff up I probably have 30 min untill i release the sample.. Do you think if I heat up the liquid to 100 degrees, stuff the bottle in 2 pairs of socks (insulation) and crouch it (use body heat) it will stay at the right temp? I'm just worried about the temp not being correct when I hand it over. any replys thanks.

This is what I think. You have a few days till the test. The QF bottle has a temp strip on in. Practice, practice, practice. It can be heated and cooled.

One tip, wrapping it too much will prevent your body heat from getting to it. There are many ways to secure it so just practice.

When i purchased my QF 4.0 it came with a heating pad that kept it warm, did yours not have one? Check to box , hope it helps

i'll probably just use 1 sock then to secure.. and wear extra briefs. Is the strip really acurate? I was actually going to use a thermometer because I wasn't sure of the acuracy. and for the other question, mine did come with a heating pad but after reading the posts I heard it's better to use your own body heath.

People have used both methods - heating pads and body heat.

your better off just letting it touch your skin and wear two pairs of tight briefs, the socks will prevent the heat from your body to keep it warm

also about the thermometer, if digital, make sure it doesnt beep

The pad really is good if you need to get it up to heat quickly like from room temp to body temp because of a random test. If you know it is coming the microwave and body heat are fine. Have you ever taken a drug test? The specimen cups have temp strips on them that are similar to the one on the QF bottle, or the other way around. I would think it is accurate.

yea your probably right screw the socks. time to go to walkmart and get some good whitey tighties for day's like this Did you already take your test with your batch of quick fix? how did it go?

i have in the past used it with the pad and the temp was about 100 so i opened the cap while in the restroom and let it cool for about a minute when it registered about 98 at which point i poured it into the cup passed with no problem. Also regarding leaving it in the car, i have read alot of posts that say not to do that because it can get really hot in the car. ive never tried that but be careful if you keep it in the car for too long i think the heat may mess up the properties after prolonged exposure (but not sure)
