I'm 5"4 1/2, weigh 163 lbs and I'm a chronic smoker. I've been clean for 12 days now and I have to take a drug test soon. In terms of my metabolism, I don't know what to say, I've been on a mission to lose weight and in 10 weeks, I've lost 30 lbs.

I'm looking to get a great job and I can't afford to not get it. I have to fill out a background check form and after they receive it, I will be contacted to take the drug test within 48 hours.

I was thinking of waiting a couple of days to submit my background check form because that will buy me some time, but I bought a Home Drug Test and I failed.

I know that the "detox" drinks are frowned upon here but a good friend of mine swears by it so I got "The Fixx" from GNC.

I have friends who swear by substitution, but I'm kinda nervous about doing it. I have to take my test at a Quest Diagnostics center.

Do you think the "Fixx" will help me? I'm to the point where part of me wants to sub and still dilute just incase...I dont even know if thats worth it.

I'd appreciate any advice you can give me.

I have heard of people subbing and using the dilution as back up. There is nothing wrong with that. Yes, I would stay away from the bs detox drinks. Most of them work by dilution. You could dilute for free or very minimal funds. Or you can sub which if you have a clean friend that would also cost you nothing or you can buy quick fix 4.0 for about $30.00 online or a little more at your local head shop. There are other kinds of synthetic urine on the market but quick fix is more common here. If you decide to sub just make sure you practice as much as possible to get the temp and technique down.
