So i have to go in tomorrow, between 9am to 4pm, and take a pre-employment UA. I havn't smoked bud since the 8th of this month, which would make it 21 days exactly since i've last smoked. I was a moderate smoker, a few times every day. I don't think my body could have flushed out all the THC metabolites, i don't have that good of a metabolism. I'm 6'2 and 260 lbs.

I just popped 3 water purification pills and drank 2 quarts of water, and will continue drinking water up until the test tomorrow. 30 minutes before the test I will drink a Rockstar or 2, with B vitamins in it, to make the urine yellow. I'll probably put 3 or 4 drops of Visine in the cup too, just to be safe.

Some questions i have are:

--At what time would be best to get tested tomorrow? it's at my leisure so I want to take advantage of this if possible, to dilute more etc.

--What are some quick ways of raising specific gravity? I've heard creatine supplements will, but will that work in only 1 day?? What about adding lots of salt to my water intake?

--Will it be enough to drink a Rockstar with B vitamins in it about 30-40 minutes before the test in order to make the piss yellow?

--Do cigerettes effect UA results? I smoke a couple of cigs a day (unfortunately!)

--Any other advice/suggestions/help??

Thanks for any help you guys could give me, this is my first drug test and I'm freaking out! And sorry if my questions seem long.

honestly dude your best bet is the substitution, I failed a drug test after a month of sobriety all I did was drink water, cran juice and green tea for that entire time. passed a home test but still failed the pre-employment, the next time I used subsitution and Im still not sure if it worked only cause I used old pee, well Im not sure if they can tell the difference or not but I figure its the only sure fire way.

I wish you could have come here sooner. People would have told you to take a home test first without doing any type of dilution to see where you were. Then you could have followed the dilution method to the letter and would have been able to pass. I have to agree with jmac, you should sub. Go to a head shop and get some Quick Fix 4.0 and practice as much as you can in the short time you have and go to your test at the latest time that you can. Get the temp right and you will pass the test with no problem as long as it's not supervised. Check out the substitution sticky at the top of this forum. BTW, smoking cigs have no effect on a drug test. They are testing for illegal substances not legal nicotine. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Tomorrow I'll pick up some quick fix at a head shop. I went to urineluck dot com and did a store search (really convenient little site by the way), and will have to call the places tomorrow and make sure they have Quick Fix 4.0... It comes with heating pads and thermometer, so I think I'll be good to go to substitute (it's a regular test i'm ASSUMING, that they don't watch you pee).

But, hell, I just chugged like 4 gallons of water today... oh well. synthetic urine really is the way to go, I just hope I can get the temp right. Thanks for your input guys. wish me luck

I have a good idea what will happen:

If he didn't fall sick and/or die from taking the water purification pills, he might have had a good chance of diluting, but not with the one "rockstar" he said he will drink. At least the 2 quarts of water should help dilute any poison in his system from the pills.

If he put visine in his specimen and it went to a lab, it will fail. Visine is a known adulterant and is tested for.

This is what happens when you don't read and learn before you decide what will work. He wanted to use a couple of myths and would have been damn lucky if he managed to stay healthy, let alone pass the damn drug test.

The test was supposed to be today, Now you say you need to get some Quick Fix tomorrow (which is actually a day AFTER you said you would have to test).

When EXACTLY are you supposed to test, and I hope you read some more and found out that drinking loads of water in the days prior to a test does nothing but give your kidneys and toilet a workout.

just wanted to follow-up

I went in with the bottle of Quick Fix (had to drive an hour just to get it) strapped to my leg and passed just fine. My employer called me up and said i "passed with flying colors" so hell yeah.

Thanks so much to all for your input about using substitution and NOT dilution, it could have been a very very different ending... Really, for these kinds of unsupervised urine tests, I don't see any reason at all to risk diluting, as long as you have the thirty bucks to spend on Quick Fix rather than a few grams of weed....
