Default Blood and Urine test

I'm 5'8" 170 and have been a daily smoker for years. I'm getting blood and urine sampled for life insurance and will have been clean for 19 days. Just to be sure my pee comes up negative I'm thinking of buying clean pee to substitute.

However, I read online that:

"Labs know what the temperature of a fresh urine sample should be and they also know that a sample should have blood particles in it of the blood type of the person being tested; so it is riskier to try and evade the urinalysis test by using a urine substitution. Labs take the specimen and either mix it with chemicals or dip a chemical colored test strip into it; or in some cases they examine it more closely in lab testing devices, depending on the type of substance they are looking for."

Is this BS? Do you think substitution is risky given that they will also take my blood? Has anyone used substitution for a test where they have also drawn blood? Any insight you can share would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

All u need to worry about is getting the temp correct 90-100 and the synthetic will work great . Dont worry about all the other stuff. Most people who crotch the sample have no problem but you can use a hand warmer as well.

i know that quick fix 4.0 comes with a heating pad for help.

i dont think they would ask for both to compare, the blood test is probably to test for preexisting medical conditions like diabetes, cholesterol, and nicotine for examples

If your urine has blood in it, get yourself to a doctor ASAP. It means you have a bladder infection or worse. There normally should be no blood in urine. There are integrity checks, but the synthetics are designed to pass these tests. They do not check for blood in the urine.

I call it BS.

It is vague and contains no real info. The labs of course know that urine should be anywhere from 90 - 100 degrees within 4 minutes of the void. That is for the collector to determine. The lab will never see a specimen that temperature unless the heater has gone beserk in the lab. The urine is collected at a clinic or collection facility then overnighted to a lab. It has cooled considerably since then.

It says the same thing as this statement:

The labs take the urine and see if it has blood in it by putting it in a machine thingy and sometimes dipping a dippy thingy in it or mixing with some stuff and/or maybe look closer at the specimen in some cases depending on what they are looking for.

How accurate is my statement? It says the same thing and is as technical as yours.

In concurrence with stoner28, I do not think that the blood test will detect for drugs, but rather exists to take readings of health indicators, such as red and white blood cell counts or shit like that. Take note that this is just my best guess.
Also, I don't think it would be suspicious if you were to ask questions about the tests you will be taking. It is perfectly normal for a doctor to describe to his patients the details of a medical procedure he performs on said patient.
