I know everyone on here says that the home tests are very accurate and if I pass those I am good to go, but the home tests I have seem only to be testing for 1 THC metabolite (THC COOH). I have read on this site (which is great by the way) that the lab screens are testing for all 31 metabolites and that the GC/MS tests only for THC COOH. My concern is that when only testing for THC COOH I'm under the 50 ng/ml threshold, but that when testing for ALL metabolites I might be above that threshold. Am I just being paranoid? Thanks for any help.

I've read some of those package inserts and I have seen the number 31 several times. What brand are they? Can you scan and post a package insert, not the whole part just the relevent portion? Or just post a little more of what it says.

It's called the "One Step Drug Screen Test Card." Got it from Uritox. The exact language it uses is:

This test yields a positive result when the concentration of THC-COOH in urine exceeds 50 ng/ml.

Maybe it's just a bunk test. Do you know of any that look for all 31 for sure?

That is the one you want to test for. THC is the "parent drug" and THC-COOH is the metabolite (D9-tetrahydrocannabinol).

Don't worry about it. You are just being paranoid. If you truly want to learn all about metabolites and parent drugs do a google search for "THC-COOH" and read to your hearts content.

Cool - thanks for the response. So, just for reassurance - I've passed two home tests from two different brands with my first void of the day, I should be good to go for the real thing right?
