Basically my problem is this: I had a job interview today, and I nailed it, except that they required a drug test before I can start working for them. Well, I smoked out on Thursday (doh!) which basically meant I was ****ed. Turns out, my drug test was 'inconclusive' so I had to go to a special lab (Qwest Laboratory) to get another test done. On the way there, I drank a ****load of water, so of course the second time around, my urine was quite clear (which, as you know, is a bad sign-- it proves to the labs you've been over-hydrating yourself to fool the test). But the nurse accepted it anyway, and said the company will get my results in 2-3 days. So my question is: Am I ****ed or what? Do I have ANY chance of getting this job??
(I'm about 5'4, 140 lbs, low metabolism--but I have been eating alot of rich foods since Thurs.. alot more than I usually do.. is that bad or good??) It's okay, you can tell it to me straight if you think I'm not gonna pass.

There's tons of crap you can buy to clean yourself out, and I promise you ready clean works. You should be able to buy it at any head-shop. Hell, you can get it at Gas Stations in Metro Detroit where I live.

Anyways, they aren't allowed to say anything about the content of your piss or ask questions such as, 'Did you overhydrate yourself on purpose?'

And yeah, I think you very well may pass, you'd be suprised. People overestimate drug tests a lot, **** can get out of your system real fast. But then again, it depends how heavily you smoke.

hey i got a dilema as well. i joinded the military and i have to go take my physical on tuesday... wich requires a drug test...well anyway iv been a average toker for 2 years..id smoke an 8th every week or so...well i stopped for 2 months for a job, i started up again after i got the job, well the job sucked so i joined up... but i cant get in if i fail my test.. so iv drank a gallon of water everyday for 3 days.. iv taken niacin,goldnseal, iv eaten meat like crazy. im just nervouse as hell i guess u think ill pass or no

This thread was over 4 years old. Any information given here probably is outdated as the labs and testing procedures have evolved with time.
