I am a casual smoker, 31 years old, 6"1 and 175 pounds, little exercise, normal motab. Last week I accepted a position and will be uprooting my family, selling the house, and moving half way across the country. The gave me the job, pending that I pass a urine test.

So, like an idiot I hit the pipe twice this past weekend. Prior to that, I usually take a hit or two every 2 weeks. The only exception was about a month ago, smoked a little bit everyday all weekend.

I have exactly 24 days until my test and I'm already bugging out. This is for a job that I must have, and would love any advice to see if I will pass or fail. What can I do to see that it is a pass.

I think you will be clean in 1-2 weeks, different for everyone though. Do some aerobic exercise to excrete your THC metabolites. Other than exercise, time is the only thing to get you clean.

Get a home test and test yourself with the first urine of the day, it is the most concentrated and dirtiest. If you are still coming up positive a few days before the test, start using the dilution method. Even better, if you can get some clean urine or get some quick fix (available online, can ship overnight to your door) and substitute. Please check out the links provided, they have a lot of great info and are very helpful. No more smoking until you are for sure in the clear!!!!!!

This job will change my life and not getting it because of weed could cost me everything. I'm such a casual smoker, and there will be random tests should I get the job, so, it looks like the time has come to "retire" from this section of partying. Unless, I fail!

I dont know...you really should reconsider taking the test. I mean if it is so important you shouldnt mess around. Dont think you can just walk in with some peoples advice and believe you are going to pass, buy some tests. I mean this isnt rocket science.

Get a home test just to be sure, but I also believe he will pass with no problem. Test yourself using your first pee of the day a couple of days prior to taking the real test. If you don't pass the home test, then come back here and ask for more advice. If you do pass, come back here and tell us and then enjoy the new job
