Another How Long Will I Take Thread...

Height: 6'3"
Weight: 220lbs
Fat Ratio: not sure, but I have a gut and love handles, but no cottage cheese legs or bingo wings, ect.
Metabolism: medium(I don't gain weight if I stick to a "decent" diet)
Exercise: I started riding a bicycle about 10 miles a day starting 15 days ago.

I smoked everyday for 15 years. Since the begining of '07, I quit for 2 months total from January to late Febuary. From then, I smoked about a 1/4 oz a week of good 'ole south of the border commercial(in other words, low grade bulldonkey). I quit cold turkey August 16th.

Heres my test history. All test done with first void:

9/04 positive
9/11 positive
9/13 positive; drank a gallon or so of water over the afternoon and peed clear to get a negative(very faint line)
9/14 positive
9/16 positive

I've still got 4 test left, so I think I'll spread them out 4 days apart. The test date for the job is my perogative. All I have to do is call them when I'm ready(they don't know I'm trying to clean out ) Its going to be a DOT physical, so I'm not going to attempt a substitution. The companies policy on anything but a negative, such as a negative dillute or positive, is grounds for no hire. So I'm really paranoid about doing a dillute.

My questions is, am I going to be one of these guys that takes 105 days to clean out? The sooner I get to work the better, of course.. I'm just getting really frustrated with all this. I've been a good lad and not smoked and its pissing me off that I can't get clean.......

well im not sure how long it will take you if your still testing positive after 36 days

then only thing i can think of is some of the "miracle detox" things try niacin a couple people i know took something like 500% of their daily value and tested negative after just 2 days of sobriety but then again my bros friend did that plus the miracle drinks and came up positive after a month of that so im not sure what to say just try those holistic medicines that claim to clean you out and mayb one will work for you (its about a 50/50 wether they will acutaly work or not) good luck and one of my friends did charcoals and now swears by them cleaned him out in just under a week (hes packen the pounds to and im pretty sure he has a slow metabolism)

Its a faint line, but not as faint as the one I took a week ago. You guys say that any line is negative, so I'll go with that.

Were you working out aerobically this entire time?

I'm having a similar situation as you. I've been clean 28 days (smoked non-stop before quitting)...and I've been eating a good diet for the past 7 days and running a half hour on an elliptical the past 7 days too. I took another home test this morning and I'm still coming up positive.

I've got another 26 days before I have to pee in a cup...but I'm still stressing pretty hard. I'm 5'4" and 130 lb's...I can't believe I'm still dirty.

I have been reading and researching and after my test came across this. I found out about 4 months ago that I was gonna have to test as a new contract item for the company I work for. I tried to quit and made it about 10 days so you guys are troopers for sticking it in there. So I gave up thinking the company had given up and kept smokin. I learned last week that I'd be tested this week. So I ended up using the Duz'zit from PYDT and it worked. I consider myself a fairly heavy smoker (maybe don't smoke once a week or so - but pretty much every day) and I passed my test. Was sweating bullets until I got my results today saying no drugs were found. WOOHOO. Duz'zit DOES work (at least for me).
