Okay. This might be a stupid question, but if I get caught having smoked, I stand to lose a lot:

I am a five foot tall woman, weighting 170 pounds, with low metabolism. I don't work out, but I am willing to do so, if it means I will pass.

I smoked a pipe nine days ago, took four large hits. I had not smoked in over three months. However, prior to that I was a VERY heavy smoker-- smoking anywhere between 1-8 times a day.

I have a physical for nursing school in 7 days. Here's the catch: I have NO IDEA if it will include a drug test! Part of the physical is a "CBC" (blood test), a "urinalysis," and a "microscopic urinalysis," as well as other titer tests to determine if I am I am immune to diseases like rubella, hepatitis, etc.

No one mentioned drug testing at all. Legally, would they have to inform me if drug testing were being done??-- or is it part of routine health exams to be taken for granted?

I live in the state of Pennsylvania. I am so nervous about this, I am going to be sick. Please reply if you know FOR SURE.

If I will be tested, how can I pass both urine and blood? I can't have anything mailed here (parents), and don't know anyone clean for substitution. Is my only option dilution?

You should be fine, don't worry.

1) You took 4 hits, 15 days before the test. With a little dilution, excercise, and drinking lots of fluids, you'll probably pass.

2) They're taking a urine sample to check for diseases, not drug use. On the off chance that they do a drug test, the results probably won't be shared with anyone, as the test isn't for probation or employment.

seven days from now, I would not increse the exercise regimin. Hmmm, this is a tough one. you really dont want to dilute because you want the medical tests to be as accurate as possible. dont mess with that. I really think that you ought to be below detection limits by test time but if there is any way you could postpone it by another week or so that would sure help. Definintly get a home test and go to bed after a day you drank littel water and check your first urine of the day without any dilution-- if you are nondetect with that then you are home clear. If you test positive, you may want to try to delay


check your paperwork carefully, there may have been some sort of general statement about whtever tests are deemed necessary blah blah blah.... Considering the drugs that nurses handle I know that they are tested for employment--just dont know if a school would.

Wow, am I relieved or what?!?!

I spent the whole week trolling drug stores in my town for a home drug test-- and finally found one. I decided to take it immediately, with no special dilution or flush efforts-- and I tested negative.

Unless it was a completely defective test, I have nothing to worry about. I must not have smoked enough.

Thank you WNB & S2, for the advice, when I really needed it.

Now, on with life... I will never quit smoking-- but I will not be smoking again until all of my business is in order. I still want to check out this board...

Hey guys, i have a problem. I took 3 hits of a blunt yesterday with a bunch of friends. I have a drug test with my PO in 6 days.

I am 5'9 weigh approximately 192 pounds, i just started working out a month ago. I went from 210 to 192 which is good.

I've never smoked weed b4 in my life.

do you guys think it will show up negative or positive?

You are posting in a thread that is 4 years old and you misspelled desperate. That withstanding, I think you are cutting it too close because you are slightly overweight and that is going to take a one time high a little longer to clear.

Six days should be plenty to clear a one-time smoke. You didn't get enough THC into your system to register a positive for more than a few days.

I'm curious. Why did you smoke if you knew you had a drug test coming up and didn't know if you'd be able to pass it if you smoked?
