hi folks. well, i just took my second ua today at 30 days clean after having my last one come back diluted. luckily, the company that i've been offered the position with is pretty laid back and didn't seem to think it was a big deal as i guess it happens a lot. i've been taking the "at home drug test" by pharmatech at home over the last week or so and have passed every time, mostly with that famous very faint line. i'm 29, 5'8'', 155 lbs. i was working out 3 days or so a week until i quit toking about a month ago. i'd been smoking daily (2-3 one hitters a day) of pretty good northwest bud for the last 10 years or so. when i took the test last monday i overdid it with the liquids out of pure paranoia. i drank about 50 oz of gatoraide and 25 oz of water between 8 and 11am, ate 4 aspirin and a multivitamin. i took the test around 11:30 am and found out that friday that it was diluted. the crazy part was that they sent me my offer letter an hour before they called me to tell me that i needed to test again. thank god i didn't make it back home to light up in that hour!

anyhoo, i tried to do the mild dilution thing today but am worried i might have drank too much. i had a medium sized coffee on my way to work today around 7:30am and then sucked on a 32 oz of gatoraid between 9am and 12:30. i then had another 6-8 oz of coffee on my way to take the test. i ate about 5 aspirin between 9:30 and 10:30, a multi vitamin around 11, and 4 extra strenght rolaids around noon. i peed in a cuparound 1:30. do you think there is any chance that it will come back diluted again? before the multi vitamin kicked in my urine with light but did have some yellow to it.

also, when i went to take the test both times the people before me were asked if they had taken any medications over the last month or consumed poppy seeds in the last 24 hours. they didn't ask me that and when i asked why about the poppy seeds they said that my company doesn't test for anything that would be affected by poppy? what is that all about? you can be a herion addict but can't get near the green? such irony. the test was a 35533n sap 5-50/300 gc/ms so if any one can shed some light, please do. the sucky thing is that i already have the offer letter and a start date so i'll probably have to wait until my start date, which isn't for a couple weeks, before i can be sure what the results were. if i call the lab in a week will they tell me anything?

You can ask them what they are testing you for? They have different ones. I know that mine will be a 10 panel. I just have to worry about the herb. Booo....

I definately agree with doing something other than marijuana. Seems you get longer time in prison as well. They said it college that it is the gateway drug. It wasn't for me and it isn't for everyone.

just found out that i passed! whohoooo! my advice is that if you've been clean for a few weeks and can past a home test you should be OK! try not to stress even though its impossible not to ; ) this is coming from a daily smoker of 10+ years!?!
