I'm new here, I have a couple questions.

(BTW I'm 28 yrs old, 175 lbs, 5-10, about 19%BF, and up until 1.5 weeks ago, I used to smoke 2-3x daily for a couple years, but as of 1.5 weeks ago, I've decided to quit completely, and forever, as I may have drug tests coming up in the future, for a possible PROBATION. I used to lift regularly, but recently I've been neglecting it, and I have a decent metabolism. From here on out I'm trying to lift and do heavy cardio daily. I also will be using caffeine to up my metabolism before each workout. In addition to all this, I'll be trying N2's dilution method.)

First off, what is the best testing strip device to use? I found a few online, and at Walgreens, and here they are. I took out the links, but I left the products so you guys could advise me.

The two you pick up at a local Walgreens are much higher priced, but are they actually that much better? The last one I posted (in bold) is a much cheaper one, and you can get like 10 of them for the same price. Which is the better option, and which works more reliably? I would like to get several of the cheaper ones, so that I can test myself repeatedly before and during practice dilutions, etc. If there is a better/more economical one than all of these, can someone please post and let me know?

Secondly, I saw a few posts saying that salt should be used in these preparations, everything from mixing in with the Gatorade to putting capsules and swallowing. Is this necessary? Nothing about salt was mentioned in N2's original post, so I'm wondering.

Finally, and most importantly, what kind of time frame am I looking at to get the THC out of my system? I've read everything from 12-90 days. And w/ my history of smoking, I'm worried that it may be closer to 90 days. I may have to test in a couple weeks, but I'm not sure yet (pending on the results of a court case unrelated to drugs).

I figure I'll bump this, because I haven't received any responses yet, and I have some more information (and I'm freaking out, sorry). I actually went ahead and ordered the $1.95 testing strips, along w/ an adulteration strip kit, to test for things like spec. gravity, creatinine, etc. The THC testing kit is FDA approved, so I assume, that's OK? Also, I have animal pack pills that I used to use for lifting in the past. If I continue to use those daily (for my lifting/cardio) will that mess w/ any test results, or will it mess w/ my ability to clear the THC from my fat? I'm sorry for all the questions, but I'm freaking out now, and just need some advice. Thanks!

The reason the home tests are more expensive at the stores is that you are paying for the convenience of getting them immediately, I guess. If you have time to wait you can buy them on ebay for cheap. There are different types of dilution methods you can choose from. So, just pick one that suits you. Good luck!

Thanks for the response! And about the time it may take to clear from my body? Can anyone answer that, as well as the question of Animal Pack pills or caffeine pills helping w/ fat burning? I have a pre-prelim conference in court next week (for non-drug related issues), and I'm wondering, if a decision for probation is reached, will I be immediately tested? Or will it be in a week, or a month? If anyone can shed a bit of light on these things, I'd REALLY appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

If anyone on here has dealt w/ a court issues for a NON-drug related issue, and knows how the probation system works, please let me know. I'm freaking out, and I'd really appreciate any and all answers to my previous post question:

I have a pre-prelim conference in court next week (for non-drug related issues), and I'm wondering, if a decision for probation is reached, will I be immediately tested? Or will it be in a week, or a month? If anyone can shed a bit of light on these things, I'd REALLY appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

I wish I could give you a rock solid answer to your problem, ND, but its hard because you cant share any particulars on your case.

The cop-out answer is: Every state is different on how they issue drug testing. If your case isn't drug related as you say, but you have a record of drug offensives in your record, then yes, you probably will be tested. The good news is, usually that testing is anywhere from 24hrs to 30 days after the court mandates it. Again theres no way to really know for sure. The bad news is, if you already have been assigned a PO, you COULD, maybe, reasonably assume it'll be within 2 days to a week.

Your workout plan sounds reasonable.and again, assuming the worst, that u were smoking award winning green, that you are still dirty after 1.5 weeks. Again, there is no real way to gauge here, as every body is different, and the variables are too wide.

Worst case: Wait until the judge actually passes a verdict then report back here. Remember, every day that you don't know AND dont smoke actaully works in your favor. You can't be ordered to be tested without you or your lawyer or guardian being given prior notice.

As for the test strips, unless you need to know RIGHT then and there, order them from eBay. If all you are concerned about it THC, get the 1 panel test strips for THC and you should have them by next week.

Thank you very much for you response. I have no previous charges regarding drugs whatsoever (except an MIP for alcohol when I was like 19-20, and I'm 28 now). As I said, my pre-prelim conference is for Wednesday (6 days from now), and it's not for anything drug-related. Will I be asked to test in court itself, if I get a probation? Or will I wait till I meet up with a probation officer to do that? I don't know if one has been assigned, but since there has been no decision on my case at all, I'm guessing not.

I guess I'm also asking, when I go to court that day, should I make sure I pre-use the dilution method, so that I piss clean if I have to? I'm worried about doing that, too, because I don't want to be sitting there in court, having to piss every 15 minutes, I'm sure that'll look bad.

Any further advice would be MUCH appreciated (I'll have been clean for almost 3 weeks by the time my court date comes around BTW).

ND - I really wouldn't worry that you'll have to test in court: The judge is most likely to order you to report to PO for testing. In turn you will be tested at that time, either in a cup or to report to a local lab for the test, again into a cup. Again, its conditional to your state. If you post the state & county, at the very least maybe someone with the same experience will tell you what they encountered. As for the type of test, 9 out of 10, it'll be a pee in the cup type test, and they won't bother with more expensive GCMS detailing.

That being said, I've reread you earlier posts: If you were a daily smoker for over a year reguardless of the potency of the stuff used...basically if you got a buzz, you got THC

HOWEVER, if you've been 100% clean for at least 3 weeks, and exercised during that time...you are probably okay. BUT for your own peace of mind and since you do have a hearing coming up within a week, my best advice to you is to break down and buy at LEAST 2-3 home test kits from drugstore. I usually would direct someone to buy over eBay, but time is a factor here, and you need to know.

Once you have the kits, use one. Record the results - If you come up positive, then immediately go into the regimen for Dilution (its a Sticky Thread here in this section)...Yes you will have to buy Creatine, Aspirin and Multivitamins or B Complex vitamins, but what price peace of mind?

If you come up negative on the 1st home test...relax. Read the Sticky on Dilution anyway, and stick to it. Then test yourself again 2 days before the test. If you pass, you good to go for any court ordered exam...if you fail, you MIGHT want to go to your closest headshop and get a bottle of QuickFix or any other Synthetic Urine style product. DO NOT get any additive or "quick flush" solutions, regardless of what Money Back Guarantee that are printed on the box...They never work and the money you'll lay out is as good as wasted. Practice subbing with the QF and continue with the dilution method.

On the day of the exam, take another test. If you PASS that test, you'll be good to go. If you FAIL, your only recourse is to try to sub. It may or may not be the best option, as you might be observed during the procedure, but again, if you have nothing to lose by doing it, then do it...HOWEVER, if you know that being caught subbing, may result in a worse outcome for you, then just piss in the cup, and take the hit.

So before you lose another nites sleep, get down to Walgreens or CVS and buy your tests ASAP, and report back here on the result from the 1st one.

Thank you so much for the response. BTW I'm in MICHIGAN, so if anyone can help w/ that, I'd MUCH appreciate it.

Furthermore, I have already gotten a bottle of ROLAIDS (not Tums), Gatorade, Aspirin, B-100 slow release B vitamins (I will crush them up and take to counteract the slow release....I've tried this a couple days ago, and my urine turned a nice yellow). I drink about a gallon of water normally, daily, so I my urine is usually clear, but the B-Vit-100 did turn it yellow.

I also mentioned in previous post that I have already ordered a bunch of THC test strips tests from an online store (not allowed to post the URL) for about $1.95 a piece, as well as a bunch of adulteration test strips for about $1.25 a piece. I should be receiving them this weekend, and I'll immediately do a first void test, and post my results here.

ALSO, I don't think I can sub because this will be for a PROBATION, and I think that you're observed. But my main concern is being tested on my court date (it isn't a drug charge at all, but it's a felony charge nonetheless--would rather not go into it).

AND I'm 100% clean now (for about 2 weeks at the time of this post), as far as all bad habits.....smoking, etc. I plan on never smoking again, just because I don't want to take anymore chances in my life. BTW, for my workouts, I'm doing abs everyday, as well as light lifting, and 3 miles cardio on eliptical (30 mins), followed by 3 miles cardio on a bike (15 mins).
