| Thanks for the response! I use a generic Metamucil powder, called "Equate" fiber. It tastes MUCH better and has a better consistency than Metamucil. I use the unflavored version. It has 3g of dietary fiber, and 2g of soluble fiber per serving --> 1 tsp (of psyllium seed husk). I use about 3 tablespoons (I think they're tablespoons) in my daily protein shakes, as well as taking 3 glasses of it a day, with 1 tablespoon in each. I've been putting it in my protein shakes for like 3 years, but just started doing the individual glasses about a year or so ago, when I started to have bowel problems. So, approximately (conservatively) 5 tablespoons (maybe they're double teaspoons) a day = 10 teaspoons a day, right? So that's about 10 servings a day now = 30g dietary fiber / 20g soluble fiber daily (psyllium seed husk). My cholesterol better be damn low, if nothing else.
