To answer an earlier question/concern:

The collector is supposed to disable all the water sources. That means they must turn off the water, color the toilet water and instruct the donor to NOT use any water. If you must have water running the the sink to urinate, then the collector must be in the restroom with you to ensure you are not adulterating your specimen by either adding water or heating up a specimen. If you turn on the water or flush the toilet, you can be made to provide a second specimen if that is what the collector feels is necessary to be able to submit an uncompromised specimen.

You must be asked to remove everything from your pockets and show the collector the contents. You can then be allowed to keep your wallet and/or money. Everything else must stay outside the restroom. You must also remove all outer/excess clothing (i.e.: hats, coats, sweaters, hoodies, coveralls, overalls, etc...)

BTW: I have no hot water going to the sink in the restroom. I provide antibacterial soap, so hot water isn't really necessary; and it cuts the heating bill to boot.

What are the odds of it being supervised? I will freak out if i find out that it is.

I took my test today, so here's what happened:
It wasn't supervised, so i was pretty happy. They had asked me to take everything out of my pockets too. The second i go in, i put the 3 oz. of urine in the cup. Right after that i go to urinate like usual. The problem was, i couldn't go. I was in there for like 3 to 4 min. trying to piss and figure out something quick. I finally came to the conclusion that i was not going to be able to urinate in time. So, i decide to just flush the toilet and just leave the bathroom and give it to the person. Here inlays the problem: she never told me to not flush the toilet, but there was a sign that said something like, don't flush the toilet if giving a drug test. I did it anyways because if i left it unflushed, they would have seen no urine in it.

Anyways, i go out give the sample to the lab person, she fills out some sheet (which i have a copy of) it had a question that says, "is the sample between the temp. of 90-100 degrees?" and it was so she checked yes. She just said to me that it was done and that i can go.
I know it is clean urine, so my question is, is there any way that something could have went wrong because i flushed the toilet? She didn't go and check the bathroom after-wards, i said that "after i washed my hands is that okay" she said yeah it was fine. I really hope that i don't have to take a re-test. How long should i wait for a call to see if it's positive or negative anyways? Will they even call if it's negative?

Well, you got lucky because the collector didn't follow the rules. This happens quite frequently. The collector is supposed to disable the water so you cannot wash your hands and they are supposed have you give another specimen if you flushed the toilet. Your collector did none of that and accepted the specimen as is.

You should be ok.

BTW, don't worry about not having enough urine to pee in the toilet, What if you only had to go as much as about 3 ounces? There would be none left over to put in the toilet anyway. You wipe, (if female) and leave the tp in the toilet anyway. Not having extra to be seen in the toilet is not a problem at all.

Do you think that i'm in the clear though? I already started my job, but have not gotten any results yet, i started it right after i took the test. I guess they would fire me if they soon find that i failed somehow.
Is their a possibility that i would have to do a re-test? They had already put my (my friends) urine in the other real sample cup, so do i have anything to worry about? I'm still kind of nervous.
