Hey, can I ask for a little help? I am waiting on a job offer that's contingent on a successful drug screen. Although I have been freaking about the hair test possibility (remote as it is), I think I need a little advice or comfort about the ol' pee test. My profile:

Very occasional smoker
1 hit on Sat night, before that last use was 6 weeks ago (1/4 over 2 weeks, and no prior usage for another month) Edit - just found out I took 2.5 hits total...there was a jay I don't remember!
Moderate metabolism
Work Out 30 min/day, 4-5x per week

Anyhoo, went out to a party last night and got ripped, somehow a bong got handed to me (haven't seen one of those in like 5 years) and I took a half hit. Dumb mistake, esp since I knew about the test. d'oh

Would there be any chance I could pass a pee test from Wednesday on? Again, 2 hits on Saturday and clean (but not really by choice) prior to that. Would prefer to pass the test w/o dilution "headache" if possible, but need to pass regardless.

I would think you will pass simply because you should be under the cutoff limit. Take a home test in the morning with your first void of the day to be sure.

Thanks, 29yeartoker. I feel good that my levels are low, but am obviously still nervous; this is a good job and I've been watching my behavior *specifically* for that reason. <smacks forehead>


I have one more home pee test "in stock" that I keep for just such a curious moment...if I get the job, I'm taking the home test ASAP to see where I'm at. Naturally, I will update w/ my results.

Any other feedback or input is welcome & needed!

I think you will pass too. Use that test with the first void of the morning to see where you are at. Use the first void because it is the 'dirtiest' so if you pass that, you can pass anytime.

vern, thanks for the upbeat message. I picked up another test on Sunday and plan to test this way - 1st AM void tomorrow (2.5 days after single usage event) and then use my 2nd test the morning of the test. Maybe even throw in another test along the way.

Since I have not heard back about the job yet, I am only getting more time which is sweet.
