If you look at the graphs in the study, there was still some inhibition even at lower concentrations of SUA. I'm sure it helped some.

The detox stuff is crap, just worry about the dilution. But don't overdo it because they will only let you retake so many times...in my case, they don't accept diluted samples. If the sample is dilute, it gets reported as a non-negative and is sent for a gc/ms!

Shoot, I've been thinking about it so much...I've even wondered if the aspirin dropped my pH too low and it was flagged for a gc/ms anyway, or if they "spot check" for SUA concentrations which might flag a urine for gc/ms confirmation (I don't even know if they check for that)...on and on and on. To many scenarios running through my mind. Makes me think I don't ever want to wonder again and just stop smokin' for good! Complete paranoia!

I feel ya but why should I have to stop! I drink maybe twice a year and cant find mushrooms since June so this is all I got.Eventually we'll get through this and I'll be damned if some 7-10$ an hour job is gonna keep me from ever smoking again.

Hello all....

I don't know what to think. I did the dilution and asprin to the tee. After not eating all day I got sick on my tummy with only 25 minutes to spare before the 4 hour mark to test....so I went ahead and tested. I FLUNKED.

I go in for the real test on Tuesday....does anyone think 3 days could make a difference with the dilute method?

Aspirin serves to mask THC metabolites in only one kind of test, the EMIT. Unless you're sure that's the kind of test they're using, aspirin won't do a damn thing. Most places don't use the EMIT anymore because it's so easy to spoof.

You may drop another half life in 3 days, so time is all ya got. Luckily I found the web site for the place I tested and they do an EMIT for the first screen. I knew that going in, so I did use aspirin and some dilution. Of course they also test urine creatinine, pH, spec. grav, etc. etc. etc. I also tested myself twice a week beforehand and had 2 negative 1st morning urines the morning of and the day before and a negative 30 minutes before I took the test, so unless something really weird happened...according to my home tests, I had about a 3 to 4 day half life if I figured I started with around a 700 ng to 600 ng/ml concentration and was negative by 15 days on first morning...took the test at 19 days.

I smoked Saturday night and have been freaking out but started with Strip NC extra strength earlier today. Have been drinking the water eating red meat and have my asprin ready for tomorrow... B vitamin supplement too.

I'll keep my fingers crossed
