Hello all again....

I can't help but wonder if anyone has any clue to how the asprin helps with the dilution process of passing a urine test?

While I am at it, I am just starting my test run of dilution and asprin for a test I have coming up Tuesday. In fact, I just finished my first 8oz of water. I have my bottle of water filled on my way out to the store to get a home test. Will be posting later, in about 4 hours, with my results.

It seems that aspirin absorbs at the same wavelength that NAD does which is how it interferes with the assay" (Clin Chem 34 (90) 602-606). Two reliable sources have tested aspirin and found it to interfere with the EMIT. In the future they will try to find a way to circumvent this test flaw. Until then, I certainly recommend taking advantage of the situation and using aspirin."

I was wondering this myself so thanks for the info,but when I took my test yesterday I didnt have regular asprin in the house only the small kind(81mg) my mom said 10 of those would equal 4 regular ones so thats what I took.Hopefully it helped

4 regular aspirin would be 1300 mg (325 mg each), so around 16 or 17 baby aspirin (81 mg each).

The study used 1300mg, and it looks like it was a dose/response relationship. Who knows.

You never know, they didn't look at an 800mg dose. It may be fine or at least helped some.

OK....trying to keep a running tab as I go through my test run for others to consider. WOW!!! Here it is 2 hours into the diluting process drinking 8oz of WATER and/or POWERADE. I took 4 asprin at the start of the diluting along with a tums. I went out and purchased my home test kit ($14.99 at CVS Pharmacy) with bottled water in tow . I will be taking a B=2 vitamin with my next 8oz just to see what the color of my urine will be on the REAL test day. OH...I did take 2 more asprin with my last 8oz. Right now my urine is almost clear. This is my first time having to cover up my leisure so I hope the information I have been reading works for me. Will know in 2 hours.

I mean,do you think that small amount would even help cause im a big guy(6'2 220) but I combined it with the dilution method and a detox drink.Im very worried.

Really, its best just to keep it out of your mind. If you passed you passed and if you failed you failed, and there is nothing you can do about it. If you diluted properly, the worst that can happen is it coming back diluted, and most places let you re-take when that happens.
