Hi all,

had a drug screen for new job on Friday, 11/16, heavy to mid smoker: about 1/4 a month and stoped Monday 11/12(when i found out abt the test)

Drank lots of water, cranberry juice through out the week and 16oz Q carbo on the day of the test.

Took 3 First check home tests, passed all 3. The last one being on the day of the test after the Q carbo drink.

Question: I know its been asked be4, but couldn't navigate the threads enough to find any solid response!

Drank the Q carbo at 8;30 am, took home kit 9;30(passed), took real test on 12;30 pm. I was wondering:

1. Does Q carbo work? did i use it correctly?
2. how accurate are the home kits?
3. I called the lab today(11/19) was told that it was an unusual hold. what does that mean?I have not heard from my employer, so is no news good news? How can I get any clues from the lab about why its taking so long!(after being told the results should be done 24-48 hrs)
BTW, I am 185 LBs, 5'5, exercise abt 2x a wk, normal metabolism

Well the exercise will help you however the detox drinks are just a quick and easy dilution

You passed a home test 3 hours before so you should pass.

When did you last smoke and how much?

Well that doesn't seem too bad. you have passed 3 home tests

One reason the test could be taking so long is because you drank a detox drink sometimes they have to reanalyze your test.

not typically delays happen plus tommorow is thankksgiving worse case scenario you may have to doa r etest just make sure you up your meat intake to add more creatin to your urine. also some collection sites ship their specimens to a different lab
