| Hi all. I'm a newbie to the board. A little background on me so ya'll will know where I'm coming from: I'm 23 and have been a daily smoker for 5 years. I'm not a stupid stoner that makes us look bad...I just graduated from college, have a good job, pay my bills, vote, etc, etc. I donate to NORML and believe that all smokers have a duty to be responsible smokers and productive citizens. Anyway~ I recently went hunting for a job at a company where I could launch my career. I found one! I quit smoking Nov 5th to prepare for the drug screen at the local clinic. Earlier this summer while on another (unsuccessful) job hunt, I tested myself after 12 days and was clean. So I wasn't worried this time around at all. I tested myself on day 8 (Nov 13) and the strip came back negative. I was impressed at how quick I cleaned out. So I got the job (yay!) contingent on my drug screen/background check, and I retested myself yesterday, Nov 20. (Day 15) and it showed that I was POSITIVE for THC. This freaked me out so I decided to use the bottle of Quick Fix 4.0 I bought in case of emergency. I took my test today and it went off without a hitch. Temp was right at 96 degrees. I'm a little anxious, but I guess after 5 years of always looking out for the man that is to be expected. I have no doubts as to Spectrum's product, I've spent HOURS researching it, searching through forums (including this one), etc. Now I'm just waiting to hear back, and everyone knows how that goes... This was my first time taking a pre-employment drug screen. I'm looking forward to starting my new job mid December. Just wanted to stop by here and share my experience with people who understand where I'm comin' from. |

Yeah...I realized this morning that I flushed the toilet. But the nurse didn't tell me not to, she just handed me the cup with an ink mark where I needed to fill it up to and said "the bathroom is right there". I was amazed at how easy it was to sneak in the synthetic. | |
