i am on probation. i haven't smoked marijuana in about a year. at all, whatsoever. i've passed all my drug tests. but last night i was in a car with my friends who were smoking marijuana, and i KNOOW, okay i know you can't test positive by simply being around smoke. but i know i inhaled some of it, as it was right in my face. i don't think it was all exhaled-smoke, as some of what i inhaled (i think) was rising off the end of the joint. anyway i had a drug test TODAY and i couldn't see my results. the lady that tested me is usually super nice (she's probably tested me like 5 times) and is always friendly and talkative. she was at first today, but after she wrote down my results, she seemed displeased and short with me. so i went to walgreens and bought at at-home test, which i passed. so i know how stupid i look asking this right now, but could my probation test have been more sensitive than the at-home test? don't hurt me, i'm just worried.

You should pass just fine. I highly doubt you inhaled enough THC to show anything.

vern's most likely right, when i was on probation i was at a friend's house around them smoking, even felt a little high. two days later had a lab test and passed. i don't think you have anything to worry about, don't feel stupid over worrying about stuff like that, it's normal to feel a little on edge about stuff like that.

the other 5 times you tested, you were at ease because you knew you were clean. This time, you didn't know and were uptight about it. You said the collector was friendly at first then became less so after she wrote your results. Do you think you might have been overly irritating? You probably never needed to see your results on paper before, but this time you were trying to sneak a peek and probably were a pain in the ass. No offense, but maybe it wasn't your results, but your actions that made her change her attitude.

i didn't ask to see my results, i never do. sometimes i can see them, but my vision is extremely bad. asking to see the results seems very suspicious to me so i never do it. as for acting differently today, i'm not sure, but i don't think i acted noticeably different. *shrug*
