And it came back negative, so should I be alright when it comes time for the real test?

No. I tested my first pee in the am the morning of a test. I was negative when I did the home test. I tested positive for the real test. Lost a good job. The testing lab was testing at 20ng. I suggest you wait at least another week after testing negative at home before taking the real thing.

Well it's a good thing the real test isn't until next week, but the bad part it's probably on Monday. I guess I'm just gonna drink a shit load of water and apple juice and just hope I don't fail the test.

I recommend you do some reading (Check out the links at the bottom of my signature. Drinking a lot of fluids does NOTHING to help you get clean. In fact if you drink too much before your test, you'll get a negative dilute - which is most likely a fail, in some occasions its a retest. Why let someone test again though? How many times would they test someone before they move on?

Well I was thinking about substituting my piss with someone else's, that's about my best bet right there. Other than that I'm fucked cause I would have to buy some creatin for the dilution trick and thats shits expensive.

It depends on the cutoff level of the home test and the cutoff level of the lab test. If they are the same then yes you will be ok. If the lab has a lower cutoff, then you still might be ok but there is a chance you are not in which case it would be best to dilute

Lab Corp was the lab. I tested at 23ng. The cut off for the inital strip test was 20ng and the GC cut off was 15ng. The employer sent me a copy of the results and that is how I found the cut off levels.
I thought they could only test at 50ng, but apparently they can test lower.

All in all, I'd rather get a negative dilute and fail it or retest then getting a positive. If it comes back negative dilute then I'll just lie and say I drank a shit load of water so I could piss when I got there. I just don't want to be around my parents when the find out I didn't get the job cause I failed the drug test. I don't want to have to deal with there bullshit "I told you so" crap.

Shoot... I guess I better call my lab and ask about their cut off levels, but they say that cut off levels are high enough to make sure that second-hand smokers don't test positive.
