I'm not sure if I actually will need to do a urine drug test, but it's a possibility once my upcoming employer sees my Police Check... (long story short: my friend's car got searched by the cops, the cops found an ounce of pot, the cops assumed it was mine because I was sitting closest to it and I got arrested, charges were dropped but that event still shows up on my Police Check.)

So yeah, a drug test is a possibility in the next month or so. I've stopped smoking and have been drinking lots of water daily.

My metabolism is reaally fast. Like, I'm still the same weight now (age 20) as I was when I was in grade 10. I can't gain weight. I work out a lot and I'm much stronger, but I don't get any bigger.
Is this an advantage for ridding THC from my system? Would the THC metabolize quicker because of this or is it pretty much unrelated?

EDIT: just checked the sticky thread. Here are my digits:
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 130lbs (yeah, I know...)
Metabolism: fast (see height and weight)
Smoking History: Up until 2 weeks ago, daily. Since 2 weeks ago, 3-4 times a week.
Work out: 3-4 times a week, weight training only. No cardio (bad, I know).
Reason for test: Pre-employment

Yes, having a fast metabolism is an advantage to you. Drinking loads of water right now won't help you though. Read the sticky on dilution and it will explain it all. You may also want to take a home test without diluting to see if you will pass without it.

Sweet, thanks. I did read the sticky on dilution method right after I posted this, so I've stopped drinking excessive amounts of water to 'flush my system'.

The odds are that your arrest record will not prompt a pre-employment UA... Usually, either a company drug tests, or they don't. Unless we are talking about a "Mom and Pop" shop, so to speak, where the owner/hiring manager changes hiring policy on a whim, most companies have defined pre-employment policies. You can request a copy of the employers pre-employment policy, as it is within the rights of all job candidates who receive an offer. This policy is obligated to inform you on the details of the company's drug testing and background check methods.

Generally, if a company doesn't list "successful passing of a drug test" (or equivalent) in its job requirements, they won't deviate from their statement and test you based on an arrest...... a felony conviction might be a different story, I'm not sure.

True... but let's just say that the "employer" is a private high school and I'd be teaching...
I'm still in University and this is sort of a co-op thing. The job has pretty much been confirmed and if the school rejects me my University will flip out at them, but I still don't want to take my chances.
